for around 1k more i think you can get it for new... imo i think you can get a better deal... i just dont know the availabilty of that package in socal.. maybe ask fontana dealership...they sponsor the forum...

This is an ok price, but if you can find a 2009 new, you won't pay that much more...
See this TrueCar link |
Sounds like a pretty good deal...just may want to compare your interest rates...technically that's a used car and your financing my reflect that with a higher interest rate. Compare it against a new car with lower finance rate and see which comes out lower! ;)

my search continues... :happydance: |
It's not dishonest, but not outstanding by any stretch of the word. Invoice, which no one should have a problem getting on a bottom-rung car, runs $30,645. With some good haggling you shouldn't have too much trouble getting a couple hundred under invoice at the right dealership, but tack on 4k miles and $646 off invoice is (IMHO) a pretty blah deal.

Thanks for the kind words. Greatly appreciated! I too bought my Titan here and had all my services done here (2 years before I started working here!) Yeah, I think he was happy with the deal that Danny gave him, but the issue was with the trade in value. No worries though...we appreciate him giving us a shot at his business! We can't make every deal happen every time...but we sure will try our best! |

oh the price i got was great, i won't put what they gave me, but it was fair imo. the financing wasn't an issue as i was going to go thru my credit union for 4.98% which was already set up before i went to fontana nissan. it fell apart at trade in value. my car is a 2008 mazdaspeed 3 gt with ~17k miles. here is nada value: retail $20,150 clean $17,225 average $16,250 rough $15,050 and kbb value: Excellent $16,650 Good $15,750 Fair $14,150 even though my car is in closer to clean/excellent than good (since no car is ever truly clean/excellent) i was expecting something in the ~16 range. i have been cross shopping the is350 and evo X as well and they offered me ~17k and 16.6k respectively. so when i got the offer of 12.5k i was like what? so i said someone must be looking up mazda3 trade-in values, and they looked again and said oh, 13.5k is the offer then, nothing higher. now i do see ms3's going for ~20k @ dealers with similar mileage. i figured i get 16k in trade, they spend 2k in dealer prep, and make 2k off my trade-in + financing. i would have done it right then and there, i probably would have accepted 15.5k in trade also. it has been hard finding a base + sport package in stick, so that pretty much offset the fact that it's a buyers market right now. ah well, i'll continue looking, wait for a 2010, or get the evo X. |
