hummmm... that could be. insurance is kinda tricky since you dont know if you will really use it or not. hahahaha.

i could completely remove my Z from insurance over the hibernating months but it would only save me like $120+ for the near 3months and the hassle of turning the coverage on/off is asking for clerical error to happen along the way.

even if your agent got it right, their headquarters might not... ive had instances like this a few times so i check the policy very carefully when i make any adjustments.

25/50/50? Do you own a house? If so I'd hope you'd increase your limits...

That is really cheap Bonzo. I pay twice as much. But I’m looking into AARP home and auto insurance quotes and they look quite attractive. Lucky to be over 50 I guess!

Yep, so I carry lower limits as well. No real assets to seize currently.

$4XX.XX every 6 months (not hiding just don't know exact numbers) on the Nismo(this is just the nismo price for both cars it's $6XX.XX). Through state farm.

Multicar discount, married, well over 25 years of age(discount age), have renters insurance through them as well, 500 dollar deductable.

I could probably get lower insurance, but I will pay for piece of mind. State farm is an excellent company and they almost always dish out checks no questions asked.

Sounds like you are perfectly "covered"

Actually some "Major" CA insurance companies do offer discount for "leisure car" or "pleasure use" but they will monitor your odometer readings from time to time usually at policy renewal.
I am paying $80 per month with "full coverage" deductible $100 for my Z after multicar & multiline discounts, loyalty discount, clean record more than 6 years and the so called "monitored" mileage program.

I'm a longtime Geico customer, I just paid $980 for 6 months, covers both my Titan ($372) and Z ($608), no speeding tickets, 31 and single, $100 deductible on both.
