Reasonable, or too good to be true?

Hello, I am thinking about buying a 370Z. I have been surfing the web and have come across this car.

is 25k for this too low? I know they have marked the car as a touring, which I do not believe it is. I am worried that for its millage and packages it is too cheap and that there is something wrong with the car. What do you think?

thanks!

Not touring for sure
But still not a bad deal, not bad at all

Ya that is what I thought. Which makes me worried. If they cannot put the correct car model on a website, what else are they not telling?

Non touring, non-nav. You can get it lower than that. Why don't you ask for the car fax? Just have a third party shop check it out. When I was shopping, lots of dealers got the specs wrong, whether it was related to it being a sport package or touring.

It's sitting on a Kia lot, makes you wonder why anyone would be down grading to a Kia? Most used cars dealer always get the vehicle specs mixed up, this gives you leverage to negotiate it down some more. And like stated above make sure to get it checked out thoroughly.

I'm shopping for a new 2014 370Z. The price of the base model has been reduced by about $3000 for 2014. According to carsdirect.com, you should be able to get a 2014 base automatic (with spash guards and floor mats) for $30,719. Given that the car you're looking at is about three years old, I think it's about $5000 overpriced. I'm certainly not recommending that anyone overspend, but a new one would be a better value unless they reduce their price accordingly. BTW, carsdirect.com has been a very reliable source for me over the years. I've never paid more than their target price (including the dealer paperwork fees) for a car.

ive noticed many dealers don't have a clue what touring or sport means. This looks like a base w/ sport. take a look and inspect the paint for any repaints in the sunlight. if you see a door color slightly off etc. but otherwise i like the look of it, wish i wasn't 2000 miles away :(

my only hindsight regret with the Z is not doing enough research for the sport model. brakes and spoiler i can live without, but what a car mine would be with and LSD.

(grumbles walking away from computer mumbling about quaife diffs, 900 what? install? mumble mumble)

i think its better than peg legging, with VDC kicking in, slowing you down, while that jerk pulls past you at the light

Well, if you have/had the money for the sport package, why not buy a real diff now? Ain't cheap, but they actually work
