nazzdeq,
you are absolutely correct!!!! that's why I leased my 2009 370Z 2 weeks ago, in my contract the residual was over $20k, no way in hell it will be worth that much! specially these depressed days!! You get to drive the 3 best years of a car's life!! I had a hell of a time trying to sell my 2004 350Z! and I never did, some idiot rammed into it and totaled it! Thank God!! I will never buy again unless I'm keeping the car forever, and it better be a Toyota then!! Certainly not a sports car! After 3 years I'm ready for another sports car anyway!!

Im actually thinking about leasing a 370z. I currently own an 06 350z, and originally wanted to lease that, but the lease programs were terrible, and I paid less per month financing it. What do you guys think its possible to lease a base 370z with sport 6MT, for under $500/month? I really would rather not put $5k+ down on a lease. But let me know what you guys think. Im looking to put down approx 3k or so out of pocket, for no more then 36 month lease. thanks!

What's the MSRP and actual sale price he's basing those numbers on? Here's what I got for a car that MSRP'd at 40,635: money factor = .00325 (or 7.8%) 12K year - 57% residual - 39 months - $894.44 up front - $594.44 per month - 0 Down - ~$620 per month 15K year - 56% residual - 39 months - $903.54 up front - ~$605 per month - 0 Down - ~$630 per month |

G in ny Leasing company that one of my friend works at is $564 a month ? w/ 0 down This is a fully loaded Z in 6mt -ie... $41,840 MSRP or what? Currently my monthly payment for my G is $466 and I put down $5000 when I leased it. But I'm not putting anything down this time. I'm not being a smart a** : Infiniti is taking your G back early at no cost and leasing you a new 370Z for $564 a month plus tax for 3 years and you do not need to pay any of the licence fees. Is that it????? - That is $20,304 plus tax ($6,768 a year) Please let me know -- I'm in that boat with one year left on an Altima. Be nice to get the Z in 30 -to 45 days. . . some of these lease deals on here are rediculous...
maybe i'm used to the good residuals for my G.. i don't know... my G37 coupe MSRP was around $43,000 i think i negoatiated to $39,xxx no money down.. just inceptions fees, first payment, etc.. so like $1,500 out of pocket. $549/ month for 24 months. I read some on here are putting down $5,000 on a lease and still paying more that this?!?!?! NEVER put down money like that on a lease.. if the car gets totaled.. you lose that money. |

The rule of thumb is to not put any money down on a lease for cap cost reduction. There are some exceptions, like putting a small amount down to lower a security deposit if you are right on the threshold on a smaller deposit (ie. $505), but generally you should not put down anything. Would any of the leasee’s mind posting the full details of their lease. MSRP: Negotiated Price: Inception Fee/Acquisition Fee: Disposition Fee: Inceptions up front or roll into payment: Taxes up front or roll into payment: Sales Tax Rate: Residual: Term: Mileage: Security Deposit: Car Configuration: Does anyone know the buy rate for leasing the 370Z? This would help people in negotiating a good money factor. There is usually a low and a high, giving room for negotiation. The dealer will obviously start with the high and hope that the buyer has no idea that this is a negotiable item. This will have a big effect on the monthly payment. |
