2013 Nissan base 370Z price
Figured this might help someone. I bought the base 370Z back in March. I bought the base model since I was going to replace the wheels anyway so I was going to pay the extra $$ for the sport package. Every deal is different but the car I wanted was at another dealership 150 miles away so I proceeded negotiate with a local dealer since I didn't want to drive to get the car (but would have if needed). I paid just shy of 33 grand "out the door". Dealer invoice is 31 grand, the kickback is another 900 or so which can be negotiated off (why pay extra for something you don't have to pay?). I didn't pay to have it delivered (dealer did a dealer swap), that was covered by the dealer. When you add up the tax, title and delivery, it was a couple hundred dollars shy of 33 grand. Deal took about 10 minutes to negotiate and Nissan also had 0% financing as well with no extra costs for those that "qualified" (which is just about anyone). Could I have done better? Maybe...could have been worse. Dealer probably made a couple hundred bucks (probably 200) on the deal and will be compensated by Nissan at year's end. To the dealer, it's all about moving cars. Hope that helps.

Invoice sport is $33,600 with $1000 rebate here in NE ohio. |
Dealer made $200 on a $31,000 deal? That's a 0.6% total profit.
Plus if you parted out the sport wheels/tires you could have fetched at least $1400 on the forum to out towards your aftermarkets. Base wheels go for $600-$800 |
SRM as well. If the dealer told you wheels were the only diff, you should go back and throat punch him. SP is worth every penny.

I got my 2012 brand new under similar conditions. It was at a dealer about 70 miles away. The traded with them to get it for me.
I got mine WITH the sport package for just over $33k. Plus they gave me $400 over the KBB excellent value for my 350z trade in. Any deal that takes minutes to negociate is going to favor the seller. That's negotiation 101. |

Either way, as long as you're happy, that's all that matter. Bottom line, you got a Z and that's a good thing. :) |

Congrats on the new Z
But I would have waited/ordered to get the Sports Package. |
.
I paid $29k for a base auto in 2011. They had a manual sport for $30500. They had some 2010's left over for about $2k less. Although this was in 03/2011 so prices may have changed.

I got my PW 13 with sports $34,100 OTD last Oct here in SoCal. Although it is a lease, but that was the agreed upon price before I said I wanted to lease. They were not too happy when I flipped the purchase to lease, but I got that figure on paper before telling them.

MSRP is alot higher now then it was in 2009.. I bought my 09 for 28,500 new :) Guess the foreign exchange rate has increased dramatically (dollar to Yin)

I paid $34,627 just for the car. I don't think you beat me by $3023 when I was already under msrp by $2758. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...ps4c54321b.jpg |
Ok, I will post a pic of my lease invoice when I get home from vacay. I was at the dealer for about 3hrs in the evening and closed the place down. I have the floor mats and rear mat only as options. I don't post info, unless I can back it up........

No rebates, new car, non demo, 28 miles on odo, and yes I am sure it is a sport.....
Not to sound arrogant, but I know a lot about cars and the models. If not, I research everything about them before I buy. I grew up around dealerships as a kid, since my father was in the auto finance business for over 25 years. So, I learned how to negotiate and avoid their tactics. |
I got mine for i think $34,350 as equipt with tax, fees, and all the extra crap it came out to $37,500 even sports pack, colored mud flaps, and trunk mat were the options on it. Its hard to believe you but hey...anything is possible you did know people in the business after all so it is believable.
But wow man now the '13 370Zs go for like $3,000 more |
I will post a shot of the paperwork with the OTD price on it. Will be back home on thurs, so can post then.
There are a lot of ways to negotiate good prices. I got the 13 cheaper than the new 12 with sport I was looking at on the lot. |

And actually I'm a hundred or so off because you said you got a few add of features. |

Ok, I will post want I want of the invoice. I will not have any of my personal information showing. I really don't like how you think you know what I have and I don't. If you want more information, just say insead of calling me a liar on the forum..... Thank you.

At this point I don't even care. I've run the numbers. If you're telling the truth, only way you got a sport for $31k is if that car was f'd up and the dealer discounted the price from insurance money or something. No ones going into hold back for you and certainly not $2000 worth without the car already being cheaper for one reason or another. |
Like I said above, this was a lease, not a purchase so the forms are different!
Here is a shot of the gross cap cost (my agreed upon price) and my figure my payments were based on. I was a little off of my number above, it is a little less. The $1,440 drop was from getting them to remove the acquisition fee and the maint gold package price. They had messed up my paperwork twice, so they agreed to drop the acq fee and give me the maint package free..... I don't care one bit if you don't believe me and name calling isn't needed here. Accept it or don't and move on. http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...m3/image-3.jpg |

So for people reading this from his misleading info if this was a buy, his OTD would of been $37,005. |
Ok and how do you get that figure?????

$34,303+250x0.07%+33.5= |
Ok so tell me this, how is my monthly $374 (36 months) and my residual price $20,804?
|

I only put down $1,100 to cover my first three payments. That is why it is calculated at 36 months instead of 39.
