VIN Tracking

Hey Guys,

Is there any way you can track the VIN as it leaves the factory? Say if you're waiting on your car and the estimated arrival week is 7/23....Can you type in the VIN and see where it's at and what dealership it's going to, build date, etc? Thanks in advance.

Just a guess, but probably not...

I found a match for the car I want in a dealer's inventory on nissanusa, but when he checked on it at the dealership it was gone... I asked if he could check the VIN to see where it went and he said he wasnt able to do that...

I think that's bs. They know exactly where it went as long as it left their lot.

yea I think you're probably right. I should've told him that's a lie, lol. Either way if there is the capacity to track VINs it's most likely reserved for dealerships and not us.
