reasonable or unreasonable?

i put a deposit for factory order 13' nismo second week of January.
Dealer was so vague about their actual "order date" saying it will be sometime in March.
Instead, they tried selling me another nismo(some options missing) coming in second week of February.
I said no.

from then on for 3 weeks, Dealer never followed up on any of my emails, txt messages and phone calls requesting some very basic information such as confirmation and etc.
Everytime I called, they put me aside "Yes, yes, we'll send you an email confirmation today" for like 2 weeks nothing.

pretty fed up,

I called today to confront, sales manager told me they don't know when the order will go through.
They also told me they actually don't even have the one that's supposed to come in February. It's not in the system at all. wtf

Then, they told me they found one going to Arizona dealer around March with the exact configuration I wanted. Told me original deal's gonna be slightly changed since it will be brought from arizona, Fair i thought.
47,000 to get it delivered to houston.

$47,000 before TTL.
yes, ~$50,000 OTD

I told them **** off.

They didn't want to give me an order date, and I said i will come today to get my deposit back.

After 3 weeks of incredible goose chase, they "promised" to order by 3/14/13

I didn't order my z and have zero experience with ordering with Nissan, but my experience with ordering other cars was much different than yours. It sounds like they were really just sitting there hoping they could find the one you wanted instead of ordering you one.

In fact, when I ordered my Camaro, I was provided a packet of information including a tracking number.

I got my 2013 for MUCH less, it was built June 20,2012 and received Aug 31, 2012.
Once it gets closer the dealer will be able to call in to geta closer date. They should have for you an approximate "week" usually is a friday BUT unless there is a hold up at the port or an issue with your car it will be delivered around the estimated date.

I paid $500 over invoice which was like 40,900 or something like that... Tax here is only $300 bucks so mine was a heck of a lot cheaper.

Good luck

Lying slut...

In any case, OP, I BET your car is already out there, but if you NEED to order it, find another dealershit

I custom ordered my Z in August 09, and it was not delivered till Jan 10.... All factory orders are hard to pinpoint and my dealer was helpful but could not provide dates until it hit the dock on the coast. YMMV but this is not unusual. Be patient.

I had the almost exact experience when ordering my 2012 last year, eventually I did get my car. But the experience really ruins it. I say go get your money back and go somewhere else.
