It's a great program and I'll certainly use it again.
Hmm... I was at that dealership getting my first service done and there was an Air Force guy I was talking to who was possibly going to buy a Z that day... was that you?

I'm in the process of talking with Dealer #2 from my USAA listing, I've told them about what happened with Dealer #1 so we'll see how this goes...

I have noticed that depending on where you are, the car costs more/less. I live in the DC area, and the prices are about a grand less than that of Atlanta, etc...

It's all about supply & demand.

Which pisses me off about here, like I said, I've been to multiple dealerships and seen most of the colors on the lot when they have 1sy-2sy... But I cant get to look at a black one! Grrr!

When you use USAA car buying are there additional fees, such as ad fees?

I have USAA and have used this before. There are no ad fees and you can use any bank loan you want. I usually stay with USAA for the convience of service. you can even go to a dealership and find a car on the lot you like and then call them with the vin number the MSRP and the dealer info and they will work the deal from there. I went after hours to shop no hassel and sent them the info. I do believe there are certain dealerships that work with them thus giving better pricing but that is up to you. I did not buy do to the dealership not wanting to give me what i wanted on trade in, this being after negotating the trade in value and then showing them the printout. always negotiate the trade before showing them the printout to ensure you are getting the best possible price for the trade becasue usaa talks cash price with them. but usaa service was excellent.

DC prices are the best I've seen. When I was shopping for my TL a few months ago my wife and I drove 3 hours to the DC area and got a fully loaded SH AWD/Tech model for $36029, the MSRP being $43544. Granted there were factory incentives, the USAA price took it below invoice before the incentives were factored in.

Unfortunately, each dealership has a different no-haggle price, some ranging as much as 1000 dollars. Then the salesmen still BS you for everything they can. For instance, one guy tried to say the processing fee was "required by law" (he didn't get the sale), and the F&I guy was particularly aggressive (and was visibly angry after I let him go through each spiel and declined).
