hello, new to the forums

so i'm currently deciding between a 370z base with sport in pearl white
or an evo X since they got the 7500 off msrp right now.

i found a local 370z black with touring + sport package
that was used by the GM of the dealership, it has 4k miles on it.

they have it listed for 32,9999, but a friend of a friend works there and said he could get it for me @ 30,999 + TTL.

i dont really like black, but is this to good a deal to pass up?
i'd be paying 30,964 + TTL for a pearl white base + sport package, splash guards and floor mats.

4k is not much but i have no idea how hard the gm drove it etc..

thoughts?

Couple Questions.
A. How old is the GM. Most GM's drive like granny's so you are probably safe there(except Me)
B. Does he know about the break in period?
C. Did he follow the break in period?
D. Do you need a back seat?
E. $30,999 +TT&L is a great deal. You can negotiate a little more since they have written the car down by the milage as a demo. You might be able to squeeze another 300 out of them. But overall that is a hell of a deal.
F. How is the white one cheaper than the Black one. I would jump all over any of those offers. That is well below invoice on both. Not many people can get a price like that.

That is all the questions I can think of.

A. GM is in his 50s
B. i'm sure he knew about the break in period
C. no way to know, i'm pretty sure if i ask, he will say he followed it lol
D. don't need a back seat, if i did i would get the evo, as it is im still on the fence 50/50
E. ok cool i thought it was a good price
F. the white one would roughly be the same price (but new), i know it doesn't have the touring package, but i don't really care about the touring package, so i guess it is really a question of, is the touring package worth 4k miles to me?

Whoa, hold on....the Black has the touring package, and is selling it to you for 30,999?

That is almost 5,000.00+ below invoice. Are you sure that is the correct price?
2009 6spd Touring w/sport. $30,999? Invoice is 35K

stag3 07-04-2009 12:58 PM

yes 2009 black touring + sport
4k miles, demo car, driven by the GM.
asking 32,999

friend said he could hook me up for 30,999
if i wanted it since he has no whites in stock
nor will he for awhile.

Take it! 30,999.00 for a touring +sport. That is rediculous. They would be losing aleast 2,000.00 selling it to you at that price. I hope the price doesn't change when you go in. Becasuse that is a crazy deal!

Tired of driving the Speed3 with FWD? I heard it was a very good performing car for not so mucho price. Quality issues?

stag3 07-04-2009 04:49 PM

no, love the ms3
problem is with the power i'm making, i'm having traction issues now
that's why i was going to go with an evo X with their 7500 off msrp

then i saw a new 370z and i feel it's more "grown up"
and fit and finish is worlds above the evo

i may still decide to just keep my car, the Z is just so damn good looking
i was considering my options :)

$7500 off of MSRP? Where did you hear this from?

stag3 07-05-2009 01:37 AM

everywhere, there were a ton of ads from diff mitsubishi dealers.

the one by my house offered me a gsr with sss package for 27,999 + ttl

southcoastmitsubishi.com has them for 28,799 + ttl if you take the 2k rebate
instead of mitsubishi financing
