Price check on 2009 Touring / Sport / Nav

Hey guys looking to get a new (used) car and I came across this Z

2009 Touring / Sport / Nav
24500 miles
Seems to be in great shape and the salesman is checking to see if he can get it certified.

They are asking $27,500... what price point should I begin my negotiating?

Any help is much Appreciated!

Was out price-shopping Corvettes this week. Dealer offered me $22k for my 2009 370Z with 28,000 miles (sport/touring). Locally (Northeast) they've been going for $25-26k.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Mergnthwirker that does help out. Good luck with the Vette!

I'll see if I can get it closer to $26k. The dealers says it has been modified (lowered, exhaust, header) so it can't be certified. Not sure what power gains the exhaust and header give but I'd prefer a stock 370z!

Yeah trade ins normally go for less than dealers sell them for, be sure to check truecar.com to see what people around you are paying, and go to the dealership with max and min price in mind, and then negotiate away. Always good to deal with a few dealers at one time, so you have more bargaining room and flexibility, then you can compare which dealer gives you the best OTD price/vehicle you want, and go with them. Good luck. :tiphat:
