Default What a mess...

It isn't very surprising how arrogant people are. Maybe the associate that people (who aren't the salesmen themselves ) worked with were better than these bastards.
At least your Z is safe at home, dealer decal free. You can probably do all the major service yourself too, f--k that dealer for any service... or rather, any of your hard earned money.

I salute your service to the country , and so you are rewarded with a 370Z!

Have fun driving it once you're done with deployment!

Loser dealership! Nice... No all are not from the same dealer! I am from miami! I like how you guys are just bashing away on this dealer. Let me tell you what i did, since i have no life and i live on the internet, i actualy located the dealers information on the web called and ask to speak to the manager informed him about this website and let him know he has been the topic of the day for all 370z owners! He proclaimed he was aware of this because some of the members e-mailed his dealership. I asked him did all this happen and he told me his side of the story.
1. First he did understand how people kept thinking that brian was their customer, yes the auto source did pay the dealership but they paid them to "pdi" the vehicle. Wich means tap the fluids and make sure its ready for delivery. Ie detail the vehicle, fill it up, and take off all parts from the factory like stickers and papers for the lot.
2. He also mentioned how brian was upset because his vehicle was on thir web-site. He tried to explain to brian that it is locked up and parked in the back of the service department were no customer can touch nor drive the vehicle. He did tell brian that he was not going to take it off his site due to the fact that it might attract more consumers to his lot and then he may have a shot of switching them to one he has in his inventory.
3. The last thing we talked about was the "treatment" that brian was complaining about that they gave to his wife. As far as he was concerned the dealership did a walk around with his wife and even took the vehicle to their house due to the fact that she could not drive a manuel transmision.

Guys- i am not defending this dealer, i just think... In fact i know there are always two sides to every story. The dealer also did finish the conversation with a very apologetic sorry! He told me he did call the wife the very next day and tried to take the sour taste out of her mouth, and that she informed him to talk to her husband. The dealer called numerous times and left several messages for him.
The guy sounded like a very nice guy and like it was onced mention in this blog of emails back in forth it was not the same guy that i bought my vehicle from. That guy had moved on to vw! I say we cut this none sence out with all this crap about a nightmare of delivery!
I do have a few more questions to brian
1. Was ther or was there not a decal on your car?
2. Did the dealer tell me the truth about driving the vehicle to your house?
3. Are you serious about taking it onto the track? If so i may meet you up there and see whatcha got!!!! Vroom vroom!!!

Ok boys yes i know im new and i may get bashed for my respond, but i am in on the beer!!!! Miller style only!!!!!!

My people!!

First off, you better get off whatever the hell dope you're on and learn to spell. If the suspicions are confirmed and you're a salesman from the dealer themselves, you need to go back to grammar school. I've never seen such atrocious and horrible linguistics come from any of the educated people we have on this forum.

Also, for someone who doesn't have a life because he has the internet, it's ultimately very sad you actually spent the time to type out your incoherent response.

We are not "your people." You are sadly mistaken.

Listen to nogood, just stop talking. Really, stop talking.

i really doubt a dealership...well, a reputable dealership would explain the story to some guy.......when calling about this, it would be considered none of your business type thing....they can come online and post what they want on behave of themselves....it's not like they are busy selling cars in these days

but since i'm not a mod, i dunno if all 3 accounts are from the same place or not....

Probably are; all three in the same place at the same time is a bit more than a coincidence.

LOL

Meanwhile you should also post something on your own profile page talking about this thread too; and while you're at it, also make it so that the only posts you have are on this thread!

EDIT:
Don't forget to do everything in CAPS from now on!

Hey Guys,

A few things:

1. I think maybe this post is going the way of the Dodo: that is, the point was to relay the story of a bad experience. Point was made on the first page and now it is just kinda non ZODAish.

2. Loanmaker probably did call the dealership. As I previously said in the letter, a dealer named Peyton stepped up (after the dealership received phone calls from Military AutoSource's Customer relation department) and helped out. I said that in the letter.

3. Loanmaker: As I said in the letter, my wife was called the next day by that Sales Mgr. That is when he gave her the analogy of, "It's like buying food at one restaurant and taking it to another to eat it. That's why you are being treated so rudely" analogy.

4. Loanmaker: I wouldn't view that 'follow up' call as an appeasing type call trying to ease her concerns. It was more of an argument.

5. I have no voicemails or calls from that guy after that call to my wife.

I think this thread has run it's course, you know? I want people to know how that Sales Mgr treated us, how he posted cars for sale that they didn't actually have so they could lure customers (I still don't think that's right), and how he justified their hostility. They thing I don't want is to paint with a broad brush that every salesman on that lot is evil, etc. As I said, that guy Peyton stepped up (after the phone calls to the dealership by MAS) and really made the situation more pleasant.

BTW, have any of you all ever tried to sleep where it is daylight basically 24hrs/day? That is what I have been trying to do for the last 2 weeks during an Exercise in Alaska.

r/
Brian
