Considering the 370z
Hello!
I have been looking at 370z and been getting pricing from dealers. On dealer offered me 3000 off touring models or 2000 off base models of MSRP. Would do you guys think of this deal? Also, I am having a very difficult time in deciding if I should get the base+sport or touring since my budget is around 32k. Keep in mind i will not be tracking the car at all also (going to be my DD). So for the touring it would be around 32k before fees and base + sport will be around 31k before fees. Thanks for your input! |

A few threads to get you started on:
FOr those ready to buy a 370/other new Nissan or Infiniti Vehicle How I have scored invoice pricing with 3.99% APR on my 370Z? From buying my own, I would not buy in unless I got invoice (which is what I got). The buyer has the upper hand currently and should be getting the price, within reason, he/she wants. I think the sport package is well worth the price for the upgrades, even as a daily driver. My Z currently is my DD, manual, and love everyday going to my car to go to work, school, or where ever I please. I enjoy driving again, where with my last car I hated it and always tried to get others to drive.

I'm going through the same situation but I decided that sport package would be a lot better then touring. And there's a couple reasons one being that the TOURING doesn't even have a screen that comes with it you have to get the navigation, so its pretty much just the leather seats. The sport comes with a lot more, and makes the car look a lot better. My cousin has a Civic SI and his interior is cloth it actually doesn't bother me one bit.

There is a thread in the general discussions titled, Is touring worth it? You need to read that thread. There is a lot more to the touring package, you have barely scratched the surface. I think its worth every penny, as a daily car you will appreciate some of the extras.

I really wish I am able to get the touring + sport but my budget for my car is around 32k before taxes. That being said i have to only choose one option....

If you are on a budget, the base + sport without the touring package will offer you the exact same thing in terms of performance. I thought I would mention this since you said you aren't going to track the car. The base with sports or even without sports has the same engine as the touring. The sport package which looks like you will at least get also has the syncro rev match, 19 inch wheels and spoiler. Adding the touring touring will offer you (in addition): - Bluetooth phone - leather plus faux suede - homelink - Bose sound system - heated seats - trunk privacy cover - the ability to get navigation- you have to have touring then get nav on top of it if you want a nav. - some other minor items. With the base+sport only, you should be able to get it for $30K - $31K. I paid $31K for this exact package which is $600 below invoice. That was a pretty good deal and is better than the VPP program many are using. The best deal someone got on the base + sport that I've seen to date is $30K even, so if I were you I would try to get that too. (Note these prices do not include sales tax and license). This should put you within your budget. If you want a base + sport + touring, you will likely be above $32K or just around it. |

I see it this way:
base + sport = Better looking and track oriented. plus syncro rev Touring = More comfortable and better DD pick which one means more to you, I couldnt pick so I had to get both |
