This is what I'm trying to figure out. If she could go for Pentagon Federal Credit Union...

Pentagon has low rates. What surprised me was I got a lower rate from my own credit union through the dealer than I did straight from them.

Nissan 370Z Incentives and Rebates
Nissan has incentives for the 2012 370Z right now. If you can get the 0% rate, then it's better to go with the least amount of down payment. Use that money to invest in stocks or CDs instead.

It's Nissan's way of making you panic and think 'I have to buy now cuz this awesome promotion is ending!'. But then they just start the same promotion once the old one expires. This is for a 2012 only though, so more incentive for you to get the 2012 over the 2013.

Although I like the idea of "putting down small down payment" for 0 % financing, investing in stocks might not be the best risk alternative. =P (Unless of course, you have a friend whos willing to sell you 100 shares of apple stock for 500 bucks) =D

BTW if you haven't already done so, you should contact one of the forum vendors who will give you a good price and try to find the car nationally for you.

^ yeah of course, I agree its possible.. the hardest part for most people is controlling greed. Stocks are riskier hence can provide higher return. It's kind of like Deal or no Deal tbh, its not that hard to make a buck but its hard not to want more.
It's kind of ironic actually, as a financial analyst I am against stock trading personally. LOL |

And now back to the car issue. Sara I know your profession and I know how lucrative it is. If the car is not too much (IMO more than 3G over your other price) your really not going to pay that much more in your payment. Your talking a car that cost damn near as much as some homes do now. Trust me I am sure all of us that have fully loaded not base models have had the same thought run through our heads. If the person you have been working with really REALLY is working for you and not just his commission he will explain to you the honest payment diff vs the one you found and the one that "he" ordered. Once he does and he should if he/she is truely honest, I do not think you are really gonna see that huge of a diff in payment like I said... Minus his commission of course, just remember that k. You love that style, model, color seats... yes? Do it you deserve it babydoll and like I said, with what you do...duh you can pay that thing off in a year, year in a half if you want. Do it you deserve it and trust me you will be happier than you know!
