Thats great Hun now you have to do pics when she arrives! Congrats Sara your gonna love her!

SaraJewell 04-13-2012 09:51 PM

money wise - perfect, and of course the 0% financing like you all said!

funny thing...he tried to call that dealer i suggested however they wouldnt return his calls. probably bc they knew they had someone by the balls already over it...me. lol

but he found one somewhere else. so for everyone using that calculator that may or may not find VINs, i think it might be a tad off unless i just found the only 2 in existence in the past 24 hours. lol you guys are awesome though i cant wait to show you pics

Nice! How far away did they find it? Also are they going to drive to the dealer(aka rip it up on the way to your dealer) or flatbed it? Trust me they rip the cars up when transporting them. I've seen it first hand, and hear of it all the time.

they are flat bedding it. which that part i do not know the cost of, the manager (who is the one i talked to yesterday) said the dealer is trying to get the transportation ready this weekend and will let me know on monday. i keep hearing a pretty standard 500 bucks from alotta people, but im not getting my hopes up bc im sure it goes up as the miles go up. hopefully it doesnt hurt my pocket too bad. but at this point its a small price to pay looking at the bigger picture. it is coming from massachusetts to ohio

Fly to Mass. for about $300, drive it home, and it will be properly broken in when you arrive at your front door.

Any dealer can only see their cars and the cars in their region. They can't see outside of that. That's why I'd recommend talking to a few of the dealers we have here just to see what they have listed. They can help get the 2012 you want routed to your local dealer.

I'm not sure Fusz would agree with that...when I used to sell motorcycles, I could go onto the BMW, Ducati, MV-Agusta and Aprilia sites and see all inventory in the country. :ugh2:

That calculator only shows what was built up until 11/2011 so its not accurate for model year 2012. He will be updating it im sure.

What was your final price btw and congrats!

I would recommend having it transported. By driving it back you run the risk of getting dings. If you have no intentions of getting the clear bra installed, then I would say drive it back.

Even on a flatbed, it still runs the risk of getting dings. It isn't going to be an enclosed trailer.
