2012 Nissan 370Z Nismo Prices Paid
I was actually able to test drive a 2012 Nissan 370Z Nismo today and it was the color that I want (gun metallic). The dealership got the car last Thursday with almost seven miles on it & it still had all the plastic on it & the shipping spacers. I was actually the first person to test drive it & get pulled over. I wasn't speeding at the time, but the car didn't have any plates/inspection sticker.
These EFFEN guys didn't even want to budge on the sticker price ($42,290). They wanted a firm $42K flat for it & it didn't even have the rear view back-up camera, illuminated kick plate, or tinted windows. It did have the Nismo floor mats & trunk mats. The True Market Value with all the options on it is $40,740. I wanted to get it for $38K & I would pay the TT&L upfront. I would have possibly settled for $39K flat & paid the TT&L upfront. I would like to know if it is ok, what some of you paid for your 2012 Nissan 370Z Nismo & what city/state. Is asking $38K or $39K to buy the car crazy, but I would pay the TT&L upfront. I was not going to put any money down. If $40K is the best that could be done, then I would put $2K as a down payment plus the TT&L. Thanks, Christopher |

All right. I spoke to another dealership & they can do $40,500 with everything I want on it. If they like what they see on my Infiniti G37S, then they give me the car for $40K flat. I would have to put $2K as a down payment & pay the TT&L up front as well.

I paid 40,500 plus TTL for my 2012 Nismo. It came with all options (back up camera, floor mats, trunk mat, and illuminated sills). They threw in wheel locks gratis in the deal. Probably not a great deal but I felt OK about it. About 500 over invoice. Hope this helps.

Dealers generally won't negotiate much on the price of a Nismo, and almost none are willing to trade with other dealers.
Also, putting such little amount down doesn't help the situation.

I paid $500 over invoice plus TTL and took advantage of the 0% apr. I probably could have got it for a little less if I haggled with them, but the salesman was an acquaintance of mine and I wanted him to some kind of commission for letting me know about the car.

I bought my Nismo on Friday and paid $300 over invoice. I am a repeat customer though, most people would have paid more though I'm sure. I also use a buying service. With the few Nismos left out there and especially with the 0% they know they won't have issues selling them and will look for a premium for the ones left.

I got a hold of another dealership & it looks like I will more than likely get the Nismo for $38,500 after my $2K down payment, plus TT&L of $1,445.35. Oh I will also get the 0% interest for 60 months too. The options will be the rear view mirror back-up camera, Nismo floor mats, trunk mat & illuminated sills.
For some weird reason the guy at the dealership that I spoke to on the phone said that the Nismo does not come with a back-up camera & that he even looked in the owners manual. I was like ok......WTF. So I decided to double check Nissan's website & sure enough it has it as an option & they call it in-mirror rear view monitor with home link & compass. I will have to tell this guy & will need verification. The only issue is that the car is 50 miles away & they will have to drive it back, or I will have to pay $200 for it to be transported on a flat bed truck. I'm still debating on if I should pay the $200 & not have them put an additional 50 miles on the car. I'm also not sure how many miles that car has exactly, but they are going to find out tomorrow morning. I was told that the dealership received the car at the very end of Feb or the very beginning of March, so that dealership has had the car for almost a month & a half possibly. I have to go by the dealership tomorrow morning & cross the T's & dot the I's on the paper work. I should receive the car no later than Thurs, but absolute latest Fri. Looks like I will be paying $200 above invoice, but if I decide to pay the $200 to transport from another dealership then I will be at $400 above invoice. |

Good deal, hope it all works out for you. Also a few of us who have newer 12 Nismos have our Nismo Plaque say Z34 13 instead of 12 so if you can keep us posted what yours will say and if you find a reason for that.

I will more than likely pay the $200 for the transport because I will never know how the car was driven from the original dealership to the dealership that I am buying it from. |

I bought my nismo brand new with mats/trunk mats/illuminated kick plate for invoice. Not sure why dealers won't let these out for invoice anymore but they were all selling for invoice price.
