When are MY13 370z's orders going to start?
 

I'm curious when the 2012 production will stop and when the 2013 Z's start production. If the 13's are due for June/July shouldn't the production and orders start soon since it does take 2-3 months to build one. If anyone has any information on this I would really like to know. Also are they still taking orders for 2012's? Thanks :)

My 12 was built in February, I'm sure the factory is tooling for the 13's now. You can always hit a dealer up and order one now, I'd guess they are starting their full production run this month.

I actually went to a couple dealers and got mixed answers. One told me it will still be a 12' if you order now and one told me it will probably be a 13'. Honestly I don't really trust what some people at a dealer tell me. I was wondering if someone knew the real answer. :)

2013's will be around by October i say. so build probably starts July?

I used to sell Nissans back in the day, it all depends on each model even then there can be differences from year to year on when they switch to producing the next model year. If you can still order a 12 that wouldn't be strange at all, it would be done being built in a matter of weeks, but could take 45+ days to make it to the dealer. Unless you are have to have a certain color or package, I'd say anyone in the market should buy off the lot or any Z that is inbound. The 0% for 60 months can't be beat, if you order a car you get whatever incentive is available when you pick up your car.

Haha what's up Ken, long time no see. Long story short I had a problem with my car and I'm getting a new one so I was wondering if I ordered if the car would be a 12' or 13' because the 13' is supposed to be out in June/July.

I was at a dealer last Thursday here in Florida trying to find a blk/blk 2012 nav/sport/touring/manual. She said they couldn't find one, but I could order one to ensure I still got what I wanted. She said it would take 2-3 months to arrive though. So apparently 2012's are still available to order. Thank goodness I had the exact car on hold in Georgia and didn't have to wait.

I was told March was the last production month for the '12s

THen switch over to 13's - first availability in August.

Ive also heard they will be out sometime around June or july. It was on youtube etc.

Wow that's good news. Does that mean that mean there are no more new 12' orders or you must request a 13'? I've read people still ordering 12's recently. Is there an official cut off date for the 12's?

Oh no i pray this doesnt happen! I am not a fan of the 2013 bumper and i was planning on doing the TOp Secret lip right away... So lips for the new bumper will probably never happen for the Japanese market or will be a while until they release.

2012 ordering is over, but there are plenty of cars in the pipeline. 2013 will be here by July-August

Can you order a 2013 with a 2012 bumper? My only con about the 13's

So would there still not be 2012s on there way to the states for May? I dont want one sitting around... THey clearly do not know how to wash a car all the 2012s sitting at the dealerships here are all scratched up from poor car washing skills.

I just picked up my new Nismo over the weekend and have been wondering about the numbering since then. You may know and any light you can shed would be greatly appreciated. Why is my 2012 labeled a 2013 on the Nismo tag?

2012 Z still avail to order on the Nissan USA web page. I just checked.

It says 13' on your Nismo placard? That's weird. Check the inside of your door, see what it says.

The VIN, build date, and window sticker show it's a 2012. The only thing that's funny is the Nismo plaque.

I was confused at first and had to do a double take on my registration and all the financing paperwork to make sure I have a '12 model and everything but that plate would indicate it is a '12 model. But, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with that plate.

My conclusion is a misprint. The car clearly isn't a 13' and doesn't have the 13' upgrades. I don't understand.

I wrote Nissan an Email over the weekend, we'll see if I hear anything back.

They already have 0% financing in most areas. They are already trying to push the 12's off the lot at that price! My local dealer just got about 7 new Z's in but 90% of them are just base auto's.

The majority of what I'm seeing out there are base autos. I would wager that's why we're seeing 0% out now, when the 12's were rolling in the 11's had no incentives at all.

I do not know much about that financing %ages. Just curious about the total price.
I am looking for 7at, touring, sport nav. And the price as for right now seems to be around 39k~. Do you think it might go down a little till september?

dude take it from someone who knows FIRST HAND...like, 15 minutes ago first hand. lol. well remember the other day when you were asking me if i was sure my order was gonna be a 12? well read the thread i just posted bc i got a call from the dealer today (got off the phone with him a little bit ago) and i guess HE got a call this morning saying they are making my car a 13 because they stopped production on the 12. so it is OFFICIAL OFFICIAL OFFICIAL any order you place now will be a 13

I actually spoke to Joe from Koeppel Nissan and he also confirmed me that 12' production has stopped which I was confused when you said you ordered a 12' lol. Thanks and good luck with the 13'.

Does anyone know if the Nismo's will have the red calipers like the 2013 Sport models will have? :)

I'm sure they will, it's not cost effective to manufacture two separate colors of the same part.
