I would say a reasonable price to aim for is around 34-35K. I know that is low, but with dealer taxes and fees you will probably find your self around 36K OTD.

Why would you think a dealer would take a $3000-$4000 loss on a sale? If you're somewhere around what Trucar lists as dealer cost (before TTL) you're doing pretty good. That's assuming that either you don't have a trade (or are getting a fair price on your trade), are paying a reasonable interest rate (if financed), and aren't getting hit with outrageous dealer fees and add-ons. |

I dont understand the figures your getting, on nissan's website when you configure the 370z, the car is ALREADY 39k with JUST Touring+Sport, no navigation, no automatic, just simply those two its already at 39K, and with more options your saying 38K?
Im not insulting you, just lost on where your getting your information from. |

The OP's car is 44K MSRP. 38K is 2K under invoice which is good. To ask 34-35K, almost 10K off is a bit drastic on a brand new loaded car.

I wouldnt pay more than 35K, But I got tired of the dealer games a year ago and have been looking for a steal on a used one and will be getting a used touring sport with 12k miles on it for a sweet deal, To save any more you could look for a leftover 11 model. Also try and work dealers against each other the MSRP is a number to make you think thats what you should pay...you shouldnt

I just purchased the exact same Z accessories and packages, I used the truecar.com price also $39, 834 with 0% financing. They only came off the true car price $380. I called 6 other dealers to ensure I couldn't get it lower and NO ONE was willing to budge. I bit on it, but I'm happy. When I saw the car in person, I would have paid the truecar.com price. Black/black is so freakin hot!

Dealers will lose money on leftovers, but going into spring, it wouldnt make sense to lose money on a 2012. True car is usually below invoice and therefore a good price. You won't find anything much below that!
