That Z in the link is a fully loaded car, thus the price. But that price is MSRP. If that's the car you want, go to the dealer and offer them invoice + $200. Invoice on that car is 39,500. Start from there.
Thank you, this is what I wanted to hear.

Sounds good. I'll do more shoppin around. Don't know if I want a brand new one yet. Just thought I ask all my noob questions now and everyone on this site has been great and not so much annoyed at these questions yet.

More like ~$39,200 depending on what came with it.

Since you're closer to Sunnyvale, you should check them out. I believe they're sponsor here as well.

I'm assuming it has the illuminated plates, and that dealer is charging for all carpeting...which is pretty scumbaggy, but whatever.

Yup, touring + 6MT + nav + illuminated kick plate + floor & trunk mats will be around ~$39,100.

I don't think it's the dealer. I just think the problem is the sales guy. I've worked with another sales guy and he was the only one that gave me the lowest price on the car I wanted to order. One sales guy from San Leandro Nissan gave me a quote for $45K on a $42K (MSRP) car! He said that didn't include tax and everything! Talk about scumbag!
