Trading in my 11 sport for a 12 nismo, dealer issues,
I went to where i got my z 3 months ago, ( landers nissan-huntsville) and their telling me they want 13k and my car for a new 12 nismo. they originally told me 17k in the morning, all day long on the cell phone, i was getting text msg's stating lower and lower figures. their sales manager and then g/m texted me late in the day saying 13k and my car o.t.d.
Did my z loose that much in the short time i've had it.? I have 4,100 miles, eibach springs, stillen air and exhaust, 6 spd, back up cam, illum plates, mats, mud guards and 2 tone seat covers. Zero scratches or issues anywhere on it. I'm fine in keeping my z now, just wanted to see what the deal would look like and man, was i shocked. I know i've posted this elsewhere, but didn't see this price related section, sorry.

Not worth it. A full Nismo kit painted and installed is 4k and the 15hp bump is nothing.

4K installed seems like a sweet deal. Z1 wants $5783.71 for the full kit:
NISMO Z34 Full Aero Package They also have just the rear bumper: NISMO 370Z Rear Fascia $779.25 Plus, then you'd need the wheels, another 4K or so...

The nismo only had a 2k premium over my 40th at the dealer. So 4k for a Nismo body kit plus another 2k for just a spoiler....
You can get the Amuse kit for around that.

I agree with the others, not worth it! For $13 Grand I would just get the Nismo kit and slowly update your car to a Nismo. Get the replica rear wing and save over $2 grand. The whole kit is about $6 grand with the rear wing. About $4 grand for the whole body kit without the rear wing. (rear wing is $2,500 alone)
You can also get Nismo wheels cheap used off here. That's what I did., But mostly cuz I wanted a Blue Nismo!

agreed. with $13k on top of my car i'd rather be stepping up to an m3 or something. not a nismo
