Brand new 2012 370z

I was offered a brand new 2012 base model for 30,8 including ttl. I just wanted to confirm that this is a good deal before I make the jump. To me it seems like they are usually priced around 33k not including ttl. Confirm for me to jump please. :eekdance:

You should put this in the Price/Ordering area. Anyways that price is amazing with TTL. Be careful dealerships are sneaky.

:iagree: There's probably lots of "hidden" charges left to pay...

I have no idea why I posted under general instead of pricing. I'm not sure how to move it. My buddy's dad owns the dealership and he runs it so he said he will hook me up. I just wanted an outside opinion to confirm.

Like what hidden charges should I look out for?

Is this a base model alone, or a base plus sport?

Are you going to get the extended warranty? If so, is that included in this price?

Are you having any added features? Illuminated door sills, carpeted floor mats, etc?

Will you be getting clear bra installed through the dealer? (Highly advise against this if you are)

These are the ways they sneak costs in.

That really doesnt sound that far off. Don't know what local tax is, but 30.8 with tt&l is right about invoice-holdback

Dealers are famous for adding "extras" at the last minute. Usually when you're in with the financial officer just as you're going to take delivery. All of a sudden there appears "administration" charges, "documentation" charges, "special" charges, etc..

Beware...

make sure you get one with the sports package, its a lot better car with it and it should only cost you $33k

Highway 02-15-2012 05:39 PM

Is it the color and interior you are looking for or are you just going after the price?

MattP725 02-15-2012 05:39 PM

Also keep in mind that they are changing the car mildly for 2013... there are threads on the board... if that doesn't matter to you, then the price is good... also keep in mind that a used 2011 touring sport is probably in that ballpark as well. My 2010 40th was 32k a year ago.

The car is just base and comes with illuminated sides and mats. I'm thinking without ttl included the car would be around 28.5k-ish for a brand new 2012. Nada says 30,887 for invoice and 33k for msrp. So I would basically be getting it for 30,8 including ttl which is $7 under invoice.

I'll keep an eye out for hidden fees.

It's gun metallic which isn't my first choice but I've been told it holds it's value more than the colors that are only made for a year or two. - the colors make the car dated. (I'm not sure if this statement is true or false, but it makes sense).

Yah definitely keep an eye on the hidden cost such as if it comes standard with a steering wheel or not.

ShockWave 02-15-2012 09:21 PM

I say spend a little more and get a sports package. A 2012 base model for 30,8 if theres no hidden costs then yeah thats a pretty good deal. How good of a friend is he? If hes a really good friend and you trust him then yeah go for it!!
