Hi i was wondering if it was worth getting the sport package. Honestly the rims and lip arent my concern. It's the lsd and the syncro-revmatching. Ya we can all learn to heel-toe rev matches, but im just wondering if its worth it. Does the lsd make any difference to handling or skid pad ratings? I'm stuck with getting either a 2012 pearl white base 370z or 2011 Gun Metallic Sport package. The gun mettalic is about 2-4k more probably depending on how i negotiate.

The SRM is great, especially on the track, but its kind of annoying on the street actually. Don't forget though, that you also get the brakes. Overall, its a good value.

I never drove one without the sport package, but the brakes are really good, the syncro rev match is something I thought I would turn off but I actually love it. |

I think most people don't give the Speed Matching a chance. It took me a month of so to turn it on and leave it on. I absolutely love that feature now. For the 5 grand, you get a lot of bang for the buck. Plus, when you go to sell, the person will by yours first because it does have this package. Lastly, can't stand the way the base car looks without the rear spoiler...

+ on the brakes!
My wife and I test drove a Touring w/out SP originally. I ended up buying a Base w/ SP & the brakes are a BIG difference, look cooler too! ![]() The rev thing is neat and I was actually attracted to the Rays 19"'s. My dealer had 2 w/SP and 2 Nismo's... all the rest Base & Touring w/ no SP. They had the 2 Nismo's at $38k and one Touring w/out SP for $35. |

The Sport package brakes alone are a pretty good reason to go Sport. SRM is really nice to have too, IMHO. You can always turn it off with the button when you don't want it.

It will cost more just to purchase the front spoiler, trunk spoiler, akebonos, 19 in rays, LSD. Consider those parts plus labor if you decided to. You can always sell the other parts later on. And I believe someone here at the forum stated that you cannot add SRM separately later if you wanted to - please correct me on this folks if I'm wrong.

I drove a drove a front/rear sports car with an open diff for 10+ years prior to the Z...never pined for it (I could have swapped one in). We chose the sport package because of the brakes, wheels, and SRM. - b |
