On the other hand though, I'd be saving like $9,000 if I went with the '10. I just dont like not knowing how its been driven. He's a friend, but not a really close friend, so I dont know exactly how he has been driving it. Gah. Going to check it out tomorrow though.
The question is do you plan to mod your Z? If you do, then saving 9K, and putting it into your friends Z (assuming his Z is not modded), would probably get you an aftermarket oil cooler, and other goodies. Now, if you are purely concerned about how hard he has driven it, and you just want a new vehicle (as I know I did, and felt the same way when purchasing my Z) then going the route of the 2012 seems more plausible. Also, the factory oil cooler is not going to sufficient (once again assuming you will track/mod the Z). So, It all boils down to what your future plans for the Z are. If you want to save money and invest in the Z later, I say go with your friends, if you wanna get a new vehicle, stock, and plan to mod that later on, then the 2012 is the answer.
