What do you guys think?

09 Monterey blue 370z touring w/ sports package and navi package.
40k miles 1 owner certified. Im walking out the door for $30,625.00
Pretty soild?
a little more miles than I'd like but it was tough for me to find.

I think you can find better deals out there. for example I found my 09 with the same package as you are wanting with only 8k and about 6 months old and bought it from a private seller for 31k I did have to pay taxes to the state when I registered it but still not bad. I was also able to get new car financing since it was less than 2 years old. If you are willing to look and travel some you could find one with less miles probably newer and and save about 5k if the right situation presents itself. Sometimes it is all about timing either way as long as you are satisfied and can live with the payments and miles then go for it.

That's pretty high...

TerribleONE 12-28-2011 02:58 PM

I wouldnt go for it. I picked my 2010 up with 11.5k miles touring no nav or sport though for 25k private party in like new condition..

r1010220 12-28-2011 03:46 PM

I have been looking for quite some time now. And we also have to understand the used car market isn't what it use to be. I think the only way I can get a better deal is from a private seller, and it will probably be quite some time before I find exactly what I want.
and it dosnt look like I'm to far off from what you guys spent.
Kelly you spent 3k more than me, but I have 32k more miles, that sounds about right.
Terr thats pretty good but I won't settle for less than what I want
If I could find a deal like that with these options I'd jump on it.

TerribleONE 12-28-2011 03:49 PM

I absolutely hear you there. I was not looking to keep the stock nav as I would much rather have an aftermarket double din unit and the stock rims are also going to be coming off. I wouldnt say its a bad deal, just not a crazy good one.. Let us know what you decide to do!

r1010220 12-28-2011 04:23 PM

Well that's why I posted here. After skimming through some of the threads I started to think man alot of people got better deals than what I'm looking at. But all in all if the car is to my standards "i've come to realize that my defination of a minor defect is quite diffrent from other people" lol I will probably get it. Before taxes I'm looking at $27,900.
I would like to get one with less miles but 40s not Terrible.

lingling1211 12-28-2011 04:43 PM

Hmmm, I got my '10 Base + Sport with 5k miles for 28.3k otd...

I think you can do better considering it has 40k miles, even tho it is a touring + sport + navi.

r1010220 12-28-2011 05:17 PM

man almost thinking i should hold off. but the few Ive found that only have lets say 18k miles or less the asking price is in the 33k range before TT&L! Ive even offered to put a DP and fly out to get one, still no budge on the price

lingling1211 12-28-2011 05:28 PM

Hmmm must be a diff car scene down there.

I just found a '09 MT blue touring with nav (no sport) with 9k mi for listed price of 25k in my area...

sorry for the giant link lol

r1010220 12-28-2011 11:36 PM

thanks for the looking out bro. But im looking for something very specific.
Mt blue w/navi + sport package has to be manuel transmission with tan leather interior.
i may just have to bite the bullet on this one

r1010220 12-28-2011 11:41 PM

that is just a base model with an aftermarket display. I really don't need the navi as i prob wont use it, but the OEM navi system takes the interior to the next level. it is so much more aesthetically pleasing! i will prob upgrade it with an sd slot so i can play videos an stuff
And all that fiberglass just adds weight the the already heavy car. plus im almost sure that sound system isn't built to SQ specs for the car.
but all in all not a bad price at all,but thats not the one for me.

I also tend to agree with most of these comments. There's no way this car can book out at this value. Don't think you'll have to purchase a car with this many miles on it either. Always safer to purchase used with some warranty remaining.....Interest rates are insanely low now, so make up the difference with a newer car...
