How hard for dealer to locate my 370?

Why would my local dealer object to me going to whatever dealer they agree to do a swap with and picking up my car from there and driving it home

Why would my local dealer object to me going to whatever dealer they agree to do a swap with and picking up my car from there and driving it home myself??? Of course, this is under the assumption that my local dealer and the distant dealer work a swap and I purchase the car through my local dealer.

I wouldn't want anything to happen on my dime. You got to think that there is probably some liability there. I understand that you think it is no big deal but it is still in the Dealerships name not yours. And you are not covered under the Dealerships Insurance Provider. There is a potienal case of getting stuck with the bill and a lawsuit if anything should happen.

He is correct, It will typically cost about $125.00 to pay a dirver to pick up the car then thier is the cost of gas. Flatbed would cost anywhere from 400-1500 depending on location of the vehilce

My dealer offered me, NO charge on a driver getting the car, only a charge on the flatbed, which i did. So unless my dealer was just being nice...
