Good Deal?
I just sent out my first set of emails. I'm working with 10 dealers closest to me. The car I want is Base Auto($29,259), Sport Pkg ($2,602), Splash Guards ($165), Floor Mats ($89), Destination ($695). The best bid I've received is $32,810 which is right at invoice if my calculations are correct. Is this a good deal? I'm hesitant because I've read other posts where several people claim to have gotten this configuration at $31K - unless those were 6-speeds I was reading about.
With a 2% holdback, they're making at least $656.20 on this deal so I'm just trying to see how much more wiggle room I have to negotiate. I don't want to be difficult with these guys either. Just wanted to gather some thoughts/opinions. Thanks. |
