So I just heard back from two of the Nissan dealers by me. Both of them seemed pretty clueless as far as when the 2010 ordering/shipments would take place, but they told me to expect delivery sometime in the jan-march timeframe. Again nothing concrete but that was the timeline I was given. I was told that they are still taking orders for the 09 model for another 60-90 days which were I to order now would mean a late July/early August delivery date. Now I need to decide what to do, though Im leaning towards just waiting the extra 3-4 months for the 10

it's not like a late 09 model and an early 10 model is gonna differ too much, nissan will prolly intergrate any fixes as production continues for the 09 model, that way they don't have to do a mass recall. but i just ordered mines 2 days ago and i'm looking at the same time frame

I was just thinking that if the convertible is going to be entering the showrooms in the august/september timeframe as a 2010 model, wouldnt the same apply to the coupe? I know that for a while they sold the 350Z vert alongside the new 370 coupe, but wouldnt it stand to reason that the 10 coupe would be in showrooms the same time as the 10 vert and Nismo?

If I remember correctly, C&D quoted the 2010 Convertible @ 40K!! That is pretty hefty!

Have there been any fixes or modifications during the 09 model run?

I had emailed Nissan directly in regards to the changeover date for 09/10 production. Here is part of their reply.....

Thank you for taking the time to personally contact us about our Nissan products.

The 2010 Nissan 370Z has a tentative wholesale release date of November 13, 2009, however this date is subject to change. Also Nissan has not released additional information regarding this vehicle but would recommend you visit Nissan/Infiniti News Room for the most up-to-date product information. Also the sales department at your local dealership is the best place to get information related to special ordering a Nissan vehicle.* You can locate your nearest dealership using our Dealer Locator: Nissan Dealers, Locate a Nissan Dealership - Nissan USA.

Before you visit your nearest Nissan dealer, get your pre-approval confirmation on-line: Nissan Buying - Pre-Approval - Application. It's the easiest way to purchase your new Nissan.

Recent college grads may qualify for a special finance rate through NMAC’s (SignatureGRADUATE) program! Those shopping for a Sentra, Altima, Xterra, Pathfinder, or Frontier may also be eligible for $500 grad cash. For details, go to NissanUSA.com/collegegrad.

If you need any additional information or have further questions after visiting your local Nissan dealership, please let us know by reply e-mail or by calling 1-800-647-7263 and pressing "0" for a live operator.

Thank you for taking the time to personally contact us with your question.

At Nissan, we are committed to a high level of customer service.
