Advice on this offer!!

2011 Gun metallic 370z Touring, Sport, Nav for 37,700k before trade tax. After trade 6,500k down to 31,2xxk plus tax and fees 34,000k flat OTD. Is this good or should I work it down a little more. Giving me tints and 2yr oil change tire rotation. I asked for a remote start but they wouldn't do it or kick plates. They are bringing the car Monday and I left deposit. I didn't sign any papers yet. Advice please!

That is real good man...touring sport and nav for 34 OTD? Wow jump on that.

nmjaxx9 09-16-2011 09:58 PM

^^and its a 2011...is it new or used?

LakeShow 09-16-2011 10:03 PM

2011 Brand new delivery miles. Even with trading a car in, is that good or what? I was debating to give an extra push to 33,000k but don't know if possible.

nmjaxx9 09-16-2011 10:05 PM

If you can go for it, I picked mine up it was a new 2011 base for 33, 36K OTD, your talking 2k less OTD with nav sports and touring, thats a hell of a deal imo, if you can push for that last 1k off it doesnt hurt but either way the deal sounds legit.

One, that's a good price. Two, this is sorely my observation that most
dealerships I was looking before with touring + sport had illuminated kick
plates (yes it is optional still for those wanna argue). Three, are you set you
want that color/trim? Four, if you try elsewhere, you can get a 2010 or
better yet an 09 still for a lower/better price IF budget was a concern. Do
you like the gun metal or more of because of the price? Any other dealership?
Have you seen/tried the Nismo? Btw, the sport wheels cannot be rotated. I'd
either ask a car cover or wheel locks. Other than that, at the end of the
day, all I'm saying, are you happy AND satisfied with it?

I'm pretty satisfied with the car and the deal but feel like I should just get a little more to put the icing on the cake. You just reminded me I cannot rotate those wheels. I cannot confirm but I think you may be right that the car has kick plates because its loaded but I don't know cause its at another dealer. I had a choice between Black or GM. I had black cars and think this time GM is the way to go. I will bring up rotating tire is useless and to give me something else like a cover or wheel locks as you said. Also another question does it come with that retractable trunk cover that you can scroll back from factory??

Yeah, the retractable cover is a stock feature. If they don't wanna give you a car cover or wheel locks, try to get a 3 year oil change instead (better too). My last advice is to inspect your GM on day time - coz I didn't which was a general rule of the thumb and found a ridiculous amount of scratches after the purchase.

Yes I actually went to the dealer that had that specific car before hand and looked at it. I noticed the car had some nice scratches on it and one was even fingernail deep. Also the door bottoms were a little kicked up but don't know what they can do about that. Also I hate the fact that they have to drive it to their dealer and not flatbed it. I mean it's only 20 miles but still potholes and a low front end(those idiots don't care). When the car comes Monday, my magnified glass is coming out. Did you go back and tell them about your scratches?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I went back and they fixed it. Weird, mine had a kicked look close to the door and my kick plate is ding'd inward. lol

If you're happy with the numbers they offered for your trade that's a good price for touring/sport/Nav ... looks like around 1k below invoice.

Wouldn't it be 3k under invoice because invoice is 40,000 and sticker is 43,740K or am I missing something here. Selling price is 37,700.

Edmunds shows 38,737 invoice (including destination) for manual touring/sport/nav with no other options. Other options would raise it some ... fully optioned out it shows 39,856 -- that's for homelink, kickplates, splash guards and all the mats ...

Also Edmunds shows a regional adjustment to price of 183 for my zipcode ... NY it might be higher ...
