Any color you like...as long as it's black.

So met with my salesperson earlier tonight & I was asking if he heard of any changes on the 2012. Said he just saw an update on the 2012 370Z.

Default Any color you like...as long as it's black.

So met with my salesperson earlier tonight & I was asking if he heard of any changes on the 2012. Said he just saw an update on the 2012 370Z. Pulls it up on his computer. No exterior changes, but some minor interior changes.

And the shocker:

Only interior color for Coupe w/ Touring is black - except for white pearl - you can still get grey leather. WTH? Only one interior color choice?? That's not even a choice!

He's going to call his rep tomorrow and see if it's a misprint on the website - that just makes no sense at all...

He pulled you a Ford Model-T quote I wouldn't take to heart all the sales people say. Many of them are pretty ignorant when it comes to cars they are supposed to inform you about. I would go to the Nissan USA site and check for myself instead.

I read the update on the internal Nissan site myself. The configurator on nissanusa still shows you can choose grey interiors - but a few weeks ago it showed you could choose persimmon w/ blue and now you can't.

We'll see. I left my order w/ a grey interior to see what happens.

might just not be updated, but I wouldn't be surprised if they made that change. The black interior is the way to go anyways. everything else gets dirty too easy.

Got an e-mail from my dealer yesterday and it is confirmed. His regional rep was in and black will be the only interior available on most of the Touring model colors. Guess I'm getting a black interior...

This is true.... But, for $1200 you can have custom leather done. Add it to your deal if you want something a little different. The after market leather is generally better quality than the factory if you know where to go.

I'm thinking of a moss leather seating with door panels. Tried that with my black interior on my silver car and it looks like it would be awesome. All I'm saying is there are some choices.

Good luck !!!

When I bought a C-Coupe in 2002, it was in the middle of the Mad Cow scare in Europe - you couldn't get leather. So the dealer put katskinz (sp?) in my car. It was funny becasue when I'd take it in the service guys would all say "Wow, this is nicer than the Mercedes leather!" LOL!
