about to purchase a 2011.
2011 nissan 370z, gun metallic, Base+sport+auto, illuminated kick plates, splash guards, floor mats, trunk mats, homelink with backup camera, valve stem caps and roadside assistance kit and flatbedded from houston to dallas. $34,155.
The local MSRP's are... Nissan auto Z 32,880 Sport pkg. 3,030 Kick plates. 180 splash grd. 220 Trunk mat. 115 Floor mats. 90 Bkup/hmlink. 670 Rdside asst. 80 Flatbed shipped. 500= $37765+ttl.=approx $40.5k otd. My otd is $37k. Not a great deal by a national comparison but a well above average deal for dallas "rape you on a ride" Tx Lol. Especially on 7at's. The deals seem to mainly go toward the manuals in dallas. Expected delivery is tomorrow.I forgot to add the valve stems $11 lol. I been out my Z 3 months and I'm excited to finally get back in one. |

LESSON #1 NOOB. Read carefully. My otd isn't 40k. The msrp is $40k. My otd is 37k.
MSRP is 40.5k. I don't have a base + sport. I have a Base+Sport+Auto, which as I already stated are a very hard negotiation in tx. Only manuals negotiate easily. The auto is considered like a luxury item out here. I pretty much got my sport pkg and backup camera free if you look at it in those terms. So not a bad deal. REMEMBER: Mine is also being shipped from another location by truck. Truck transfers cost money. My car isn't a drive up. This is something you haven't factored in. THANK YOU FOR THE EARLY CONGRATS THOUGH. My dealership is having trade issues on my Z with the other dealership. So I'm still waiting. |

Your base sport isn't an auto? Do u have premium mats or the regs? Do you have backup camera? Do you have splash guards? Was your Z flatbedded from 300 miles away? Do you have ill kickplates? All that cost money.
If you have a base sport manual, you have a car that dealers are willing to negotiate. Autos are a harder car to negotiate. You didn't pay as much cuz you have a manual which is cheaper and you probably got a car right from the lot. Lastly you are in MD. Demand is less in the NE compared to the south and west. I still paid invoice. |
