2009 leftover
Hi guys, I found a leftover 2009 370Z Touring (no sport package, no tech package, no spoiler). Car has 200 miles on it. Sticker on the car is $30k (something like 29,995). I'm a little stumped as to what a good price is and where to start the negotiations at. I would also like them to install the spoiler, what's a fair price for that? Any help would be good. I'm hoping this works out. Thanks everyone!

I would say 27k to start. A used touring with no sport runs around 29k here in tx. So in ma a used one should be worth around 27k. So he will try to negotiate a higher price but I wouldn't pay more than 31k out the door. (Means ttl and fees included)
Check NH for cheap 370's as well before you buy. NH has the best car prices in the northeast. You might be able to get a 2011 for the price of that 2009 equally equipped. Non sport cars usually get deeply discounted at year end. |

Thanks, this car is being sold as new though, not sure why it's got 200 miles. Probably test driving for almost 3 years. Got it down to 29.3k today or about 31.7k OTD. Filled out a credit application to see what kind of rate they would give. Is there more room to haggle?

Invoice for 7AT Touring = $33,122 Usually on a brand new car, people are getting $500 below invoice. Also, a good rule of thumb is that the car loses ~$2,000 of value a year sitting on the lot, so 2 years = ~$4,000 So I'd say you should go no higher than $27,500 (6MT) or $28,600 (7AT) before TTL Good Luck!
