Help With deal!
Am in the process of getting my 2011 touring 370Z. Problem is they are getting from another dealership. It has been a few days, so I called them and they told me they are having problems getting my car. He then tells me they can get a touring model W/ Sport package for only an additional $1100, instead of the $3,000 extra for the sport package. I said that will do. Then he calls me back and tells me it is the Touring W/O sport package. He made a mistake and is taking $500 off the drive out price. Question is should I settle for it?? They are sending a guy to get the car and then drive it to where I am and put 600 miles on it!
Thanks |

I had the same problem just couldn't get touring but was able to get the sport package. The dealer ship installed leather for me to make up for it. If you ask me the sport package is very important and IMO is a must.

I agree, I never would have bought my Z without the sport package BUT BUT BUT before someone kills me, the Sport Package is not for everyone. 100% personal man... your going to have to make up your mind. Not one person on here can tell you what you want
********Do not buy this car and then later say "Man I wish I had got _____________*******

Don't rush the deal if you don't have too. Get what you want for the price that makes you happy. Remember you'll be living with your decision for awhile and not the dealer.

There used to be thread about "Did you get what you wanted?". My response was along the lines - you paid how much for your car and you DIDN'T get what you want?

Driving it 600 miles from another dealership is no big deal. The mileage doesn't count against your warranty and you shouldn't have to pay extra for the transfer.
Sport package is a VERY worthwhile add-on. The touring package is nice too. Frankly, I wouldn't want the car unless it had both. I pretty much felt that way when I was making the decision, feel much more strongly about it now that I've had the car for 3000 miles. |

Your dealer is either a liar or a fool.
$500 won't even begin to cover the costs of trying to upgrade your Z to a Sport model, which you know you *will* want to do. You settle for a hamburger when you wanted a cheeseburger. You settle for a Pepsi when you wanted a Coke. You DON'T settle when buying a $35000 car! |
