Is this fraud?
Is it legal or illegal to conjure up a fake quote or invoice of a car from another dealership. Say that I told a dealership that a different dealership said they would sell me a car for X amount of dollars even though they didn't.
Would this be considered fraud of any sort? Could I get into trouble? |
That is called lying. But in our industry we call that customer negotiating.
I don't see really anything wrong with it, unless you truly start making up Fake Invoices, or bill of sales. What price do you need to walk in with. I will make you one....:stirthepot: |

:rofl2: haha I'd like an invoice of 1 dollar on a fully load Z please.
P.S gas prices are going down! Regular fuel is $3.20 where I live. |
Samich, your best bet, legal, and moral, is to email 4-5 dealers around your area, regardless of the miles, and get there best price on the vehicle you want. Then pin them all against each other, and when you get your best negotiated deal, take it to your local dealer and see if they will beat it.
