Brilliant Silver + Persimmon Leather = 41.3k PSSH

Old Info: Tired of this crap.. I'm ready to BUY today and the dealers in my town will not sell below MSRP.. they said "This silver/persimmon combo is the only in the country right now and we're not dropping the price"..

Whatever, I doubt this is even remotely true..

I just want a 6 Speed + Sport + Touring + Navi at a FAIR price.. close to invoice please and a dealership will MOVE that car today.

Anybody in Florida that can point me in the right direction? Sick of these Nissan dealers acting like they have the upper hand in this economy...

They keep calling me about the car "How bout we remove some of the options from it to make it cheaper".. No thanks!

-Div

New Info:

Well well guess what, I'm now the owner of the Brilliant Silver and Pers leather!

They called me back and we made a deal on the car at $37,800.. Which is only $700ish more over invoice.. i'm pretty satisfied with this outcome.. Me and the gf got back from a joy ride around the city! Proud to be a member among you guys!!!!!!

Do a search for the following thread title: For those ready to buy a 370/other new Nissan or Infiniti Vehicle

It's all in there. The thread is located in the Pricing forum and was posted by Robert Nash.

Hope this helps.

VPP acceptance is at dealer discretion so you may still be in the same boat.

Congratulations! I love Jax, great town. Sometimes it pays to "walk". One dealer in my town did the same to me. I walked. Bought at another dealer and got a much better deal. The original dealer called back a week later................. too late :icon17:

Happened to me when I bought my last car too. Two dealerships had the exact car I wanted. I was initially just working with one of them, but when they were being stubborn SOBs I went to the other place the next weekend, walked in, got the deal I wanted with no hassle, and drove the car home. A couple of days later the first place called me back wanting to "work with me some more". Id really like to know what the initial dealer was thinking when I told them I bought the car elsewhere. Serves them right.

Same here, and the first dealership that I walked from is where I bought my 2006 350, go figure. I think they assumed there was more demand for the car in this economy than there really is. That was almost a month ago, and the car is still on their lot :icon17:

The dealer I bought my car from is at least very trusting.. they only have my downpayment and I haven't even brought them my bank's check for the rest yet and it's been a few days since ownership.. They haven't even called me asking if I have the check for them yet lol. I guess they ran my credit and now i'm good for it atleast.

Same here. I had my car for 3 days before I called the bank to ask about going in and signing off on the loan. First they lost the paperwork then by the time they caught up they had a promotion the day after I was suppose to close on it. Lucky I had to work and didnt go. I ended up with 3.4% financing. The dealership apparently just took my 500 bucks ordered the car on my word that I was preapproved! I waited from Jan 17 till April12th and they never called the bank! lol
