Default 2010 370Z w/ Sport - Good Price?

Was looking for BMW 135i's, but drove a 370Z and now I want one...

Saw a white 2010 6MT 370Z w/ Sport Package w/ ~2500 miles. It's certified pre-owned.

The price on the website is $32,995.

When I went there in person, had a brief conversation with a sales guy, and he said the lowest he'd go is $32,000.

Edmunds.com thinks this car is worth $30,780.

I'm thinking the most I'd want to pay for this car is $31,000. Is this still too high? Should I try to get around $30k or $29k?

This is the exact car I want. Also, are there any major differences between 2010 and 2011?

Thanks!

That guy is dreaming with that price. You can get a brand new 2010 base + sport for under $30k right now. The price at $32k is right at or a little bit above the invoice price of the car when it was new. I definitely would keep looking...

As far as the differences between the 2010 and 2011, I don't believe their are any for the base and the touring comes with the option of a rear backup camera.

Bad deal broski.

$28-29k range would seem appropriate.

Yea deff under 30k, The car is over a year old and is used. For a like 1 or 2k more you can get a brand new one with no miles. And if you want to blow the sales guys mind tell him that that exact car you are looking at is about 32K brand new at invoice minus hold back. So he is basically trying to sell you that used Z for what I payed for mine when it was brand new.

Yeah, it's at Marlborough Nissan. What a douche that guy was.

I'm gonna be out all day tomorrow trying to find a good deal on a 370z. Let me know if you're aware of any good dealerships in the area that are reasonable. Most of them around here seem to have their heads up their asses.

My local Nissan stealership here in Naples has a brand new 2009 on the lot still. Its blue 6spd touring + sport with black interior.

They're so far in left field it's ridiculous.

Not that its really close to you, but the dealership by me has a 2010 Black Cherry Base + Sport listed for $29.5k. Maybe you could work out a deal where they could ship it to you?

Thanks guys. I haven't exhausted all the dealerships in the area, so I'm gonna keep looking for a bit. Shipping might be an option if I can't find any sane dealers in the area.

I just called about white 2010 in the original post and made an offer over the phone. The sales rep that answered the phone seemed a lot more reasonable than the guy I spoke with in person. He's gonna talk to the manager and see what he can do. *fingers crossed*

Guavo, sweet. I think I've checked their inventory and they don't have any in stock, but I'll contact them tomorrow.

Dealerships still seem to be real douchebags when dealing on 370Z's (new and used). Considering it is a 2-seater, and the economy, you'd think they'd be more than willing to work with you to get them off the lot.
