the funny thing is that growing up in the '70s, my dream car was the Datsun 280z. By the Time I was old enough to drive in the mid '80s, I couldn't afford a used one.
I bought my first Porsche Boxster in 1999 and my second in 2002. Then I went through the married SUV and Lexus phase. But nothing has brought a smile to my face like when I drove off with my childhood iconic love! I'm even happier that I waited for the 370 since it evokes the essence of the 240 and 280 better than any incarnation since. |
