I just picked up a new Monterey Blue Touring 370z with Sport and Navigation packages, along with mats, splash guards and illuminated kick guards, for $37,500 plus tt&l. It was a bit of a hassle to get it down to that, but I'm pretty happy with the deal. They gave me a reasonable amount for my '03 350z as well.

I was able to get this price by taking advice from a lot of these threads. Thanks to everyone who posted their experiences! For those who are about to purchase a new 370, keep working on your dealer until you get them down close to invoice. I got my car for $249 over invoice, and that included shipping it down from a dealer about an hour and a half away.

They gave me $9,000 for my '03 350Z Performance model. It was in excellent condition but had absolutely no tires left (I took it to the track for one last run last month). Front brakes were new the back ones were low. No structural damage but a few fender-benders. After-market Kenwood DVD/Nav unit, 3M ClearBra and some Dynamat. No after-market changes to the engine. I had 85,000 miles on the car.

Edmunds quotes about $10,000 and that was my target, minus costs for tires and some pretty scuffed-up wheels. So, all in all, I think it was a pretty reasonable amount. They weren't really willing to budge much on the price of the trade-in, since I got a pretty good deal on the 370.

Ocfoilist,
Congratulations on your new baby. Sounds like you were able to negotiate a great deal. If you don't mind me asking which dealer did you use?
Thanks, Steve

Thanks! I purchased the Z at Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa. They have been servicing my 350z for 6 years and have always given excellent service. Some fairly stiff negotiations notwithstanding, they were very professional and helpful and I would highly recommend them.
