What will you have to do to get a 370z?
 

I will have to pay off about $8,000 worth of debt, get rid of my piece-o-crap Jetta, save up an additional $5,000 for a down payment on the 370z, take a defensive driving course to get some points back (I'm at 10 now, 12 is max), convince the wife that we don't need another 4 door car or SUV and sell my left foot. BUT I'M DEFINATELY GETTN' ONE!!

Im just gonna wait for AK to buy one and drive his. :stirthepot:

Well when I'm finished with Highschool (5 years to go), trade in my moms '07 RAV4 and spend around $5-10K in savings

had it for a year and only owe $14k (if i understood correctly), thats actually not bad at all. youre waaay in the green on that one. you can sell that g37 to carmax or somewhere and probably get close to $30k. I've got $8k left on my 04 jetta... piece-o-sh!t... i should roll it off a cliff.

:tup: Perfect way to buy a car. I do agree that base car is the best if you're gonna mod your car. I think best option would be a base 370Z with sports package.

Now, be careful with that idea. You do not want to get in a big debt just to drive a 370Z. Education always comes first.

Yeah if they are all coming with the same engine and performance specs there is really no reason to get all the bells and whistles - if I wanted all that I would go to a BMW or MB lot.

I am not familiar with the sports package though... I will have to look into that. *edit - found it - yes I will definitely get the sports package :tup:

+1 on education coming first, especially if you have student loans. During college I drove a Saturn SC2 (fun little car btw) and felt great to graduate with no major debt in something that is a luxury.

Once I got my first good job out of college I finally got a 350Z, now that I have a much better job, and only now, do I even consider looking at cars above $30k.

I been on a budget since I heard about this car. God i miss eating out and buying toys I should be good to go in April. Luckly. I don't have kids or pets. My first kid is going to be this car.

First I will have to get hired by the local police department. Which should happen shortly. Then hope I will get a good trade in value on my 03 civic ex.
I only got the civic for good gas mileage to commute to college. Now that I have graduated I am ready to graduate to a rear wheel drive car. Although the crown vics that I am used to are rwd but are not as fun as the 370z will be, lol.

Sounds about right for me too, although I don't have a Jetta. ;)
