**Takes a deep breath**

Well, I'll need to call in all the dept people have to me (first and foremost)

I'll need to cut back spending on everything... Porn, movies, eating out, etc... (I used to spend $200/mo on porn alone... AND I WORK IN THE INDUSTRY!!! LOL)

Then I'll need to sell my 300zx (Yay... like that's going to be easy. )

I'll have to sell one of my pianos.

I'll get an advance from my boss.

And if all that isn't enough, I'll take on a side job milking goats and churning butter.

Lol wow... on the milking goats, but $200 a month is entirely too much for porn. check out YouPorn.com Lite (BETA) - Porn.

Well, I have $45k waiting in a savings account at the bank, waiting for the car to come out. I never thought that, at 19 years old, I'd be able to afford to pay my first sports car in cash. Just waiting for the car to come out.

7-speed automatic w/ paddle-shifters for me. Sports package. **** the navigation package; I'll get a good Alpine media center.

Sorry, I have morals... YouPorn, RedTube and sites alike are completely screwing the adult industry. In about 5-10 years there may not be a porn industry. I've watched quite a few companies close shop in the past few months. Even Vivid is suffering.

Sadly, I make about the same money now as the girls... The guys are getting paid about the same while the girls aren't getting paid even half what they used to make. If this continues, the only thing that's going to be on those tube-sites are amature stuff and really old videos... Nothing fresh.

So in short, I support the arts.

Lol, wow morals, really? I thought that was the first thing you had to let go before you decided to do porn. But seriously, I've always wanted to know- on average how much does a 'fluffer' make?

Nobody uses fluffers anymore! LOL! Now the actor's are expected to either get it ready themselves, use the help of their "co-actors" or get off the set and never come back.

I haven't seen a fluffer on set since 2002. I suppose that they made half of what the guys made at the time and the fluffers had fluff both the guys and the girls. (I never needed one, thank god because the fluffers are almost always guys.)

But back to the point of this thread...

I'll probably have to get some more gigs as well to get my Z. I just can't fathom spending THAT much money on the car without having some extra cash in my pocket. No point to buying a 40K car and not being able to afford food, right? I plan on putting 12K down on the car, so I want to at least have 14-15K ready.

I think you just summed up my 4 month long debate of, should I or should I not get this car now.

Glad I could help!

I had that debate with myself too. Some guys have the money sitting and waiting, some are saving every penny, and some aren't planning that far ahead.

I was thinking the same thing. Looks like I'll start saving tomorrow (new year) and then probably won't be able to buy a Z for another 24 months. The wait will totally be worth it.
