2010 touring white model no other features around 35000 total with tax. financing wise at 5.99 first time buyer. So it came out to be 640 a month for 66 months. What you guys think?

Not a good deal, personally I wouldnt pay more than $29k for a 10 touring or sport, you should atleast be looking at around $30k before taxes for a 2010 model. Look around and search for dealers who offer better and renegotiate or move on to a better dealer ...for that price it better have Navigation, sport and all the other options

not trying to hijack the thread, but to help establish a price point in comparison to the base model, what about a new touring+sport, no navi, 36.9k car then 39k out the door (tax, title, etc.)

Did it include tax?

I recently literally purchase 2 weeks ago the 2010 40th anniversary edition @ Southern California (new car prices are normally high compared to other states)

Let me tell you, I got $35520 OTD that includes a 5 year/75000 warranty, 6 year/75000 maintenance plus, clear bra, paint protection warranty for 3 years.

I'm 25 years old. I down payment $1520 got the 72 month financing @ 3.59% APR, $525.61 a month.

Let me tell you this...even after all that, it's STILL not considered a "good" deal, maybe "better than okay" deal. Think about it. Oh yeah, my calipers of my sport package brakes are painted red from factory with black "Nissan" text. I'm sorry, but these dealers are playing the "Japan earthquake" card on everyone for the next 6 months.

Since taxes vary by state, it's best to post prices before tax so you can really compare. Otherwise we have no idea how much you were really offered. Everyone quoting OTD price doesn't mean much for comparison unless we know your state tax. Also say if your price includes destination fee, which they tack on as another $700+ charge that's always there.

For 2011 touring+sport, I think you can do better than 36600 with destination. A person in another thread here was offered lower than that. I would try to get another 1k off at least. Regardless of what dealers might lead you to believe, these cars aren't selling like they used to.

Ya its 36600 before tax. They were giving me that crap about Japan. I was asking for 3500 which they said thats 1700 below invoice so I just walked out.

Yea, not a good deal. Edmunds shows the MSRP for a '10 touring coupe with no other options as 35.8K with invoice at 33.2k. Their "true market value" which supposedly shows what people are paying on average for the car is is 32.2k. So if they are correct, most people are paying below invoice right now for the 2010 models.

Find a motivated seller and get it for below invoice. Also negotiate the interest rate. If you can get 5.99 you can get 4.9 or better.

Depending on 11 inventory. The pricing could go up; but for now I would 110% say below invoice. Your 1700 below invoice isn't unrealistic. Keep looking if they don't want to play ball.

Nissan expected to sell 30,000 of these cars on 2009 and 2010 in the U.S. (I forgot where I read that)

If this was a case, there's a lot more inventory than most people give credit for. Only problem is how many of them come with the sport package. D=

I'm under the impression $36,700 is about the "non-negotiated" price for a 2011 touring/sport coupe with destination, maybe a couple of little things like mats, splash guards, etc. considering Nissan's current offers, i.e. a couple hundred below invoice because of the low price incentive they have.

The 2010 is even cheaper.

You could get them to take $33K if you're willing to get screwed on your trade-in so really you have to consider the deal as a whole.
