USED 09 Z touring+sport+navi for 32k. Is it a good deal?

Hello forum again.

I have found a used 09 370z touring, white + black, sport + navi. It has about 4k mileage. The dealer is asking 32k before TTL. How good is this deal?

Thanks

you can definitely get it down a bit more. auto or manual?

Just negotiated 2009 sport touring- auto-8k miles-leather, but no nav for 28k even plus ttl.

You can do better.

It's manual. The interior is actually persimmon, I did not know why I wrote "black". Anyhow, It is the only one, within 250 miles of my area, that is fully loaded with white+persimmon.

I did tell the sale man "I'm not interested in that color, if the deal is good, I might take it." I also pointed out several rock chips in the front bumper, 3 inch paint scratch behind the rear license plate. He gave me like 200 bucks off. I offered 29k yay or nay? He said no. He also said this car is very rare and he could easily get it auctioned off for 31k. Nothing will budge him :( Any help?

BTW, no dealer in my area has that combo+color combination in new condition. If I want a new one, the dealer has to make a special order from Japan for 39k. ETA is 6 months! I might well just give up on white+persimmon.

keep saying 29k they will come down. but wait till they call you. if you keep going back they will know you just really want it.

I agree with DAI. I was able to get one in 2010 with less than 10k for 31k and it was loaded with even with stillen intakes and nismo exhaust. So let them know you have the cash/backing they will come around in about a month give or take depending on how long they have had it on their lot.

+1 on DAI's comments. See how long they have had the car. If it is more than 60 days, they may move it to another dealer or send it to auction.

i agree :icon18: i would wait and make them come down to your price, it's all about u know what u want to pay and being firm on that price, and letting the dealer know that, either he will come down or lose your business. Also keep looking around because there are dealers out there that won't play games.

sselemit 04-24-2011 02:39 AM

so if he still persisted then bye bye my white+persimmon :( :( :( . I wish nissan has never offered persimmon.

BLAZZIN 04-25-2011 07:59 AM

yup...u win some u lose some, just keep an eye on it if it's still there in a couple weeks , throw that price at him again he mite be more willing to negotiate!!!!

Just play it calm like you dont need the car but are just slightly interested. let them call you up etc.

it took 3 months of playing games for me to get my car at the price i wanted, but in the end i got exactly the car i wanted for the price i wanted.

Or if they dont budge :p make me an offer for my car as it sits and who knows maybe i'll do something dumb and sell it!
