Default Cars Direct

Hey how you guys doing, I'm in the Airforce and i'm stationed out here in Fairfield CA. I'm heading to Iraq in aug and probably won't be able to buy a 370z till dec-jan10 wen i get back here in the states. I was wondering if any of you guys have any experience or hear stories (good or bad) about cars direct, I really don't want to go through the hassle of going to the dealership I feel like they always try to rip you off. My friend recommended carsdirect to me and i checked it out and according to their site they guarantee a price of $37,250 for a fully loaded 6 speed 370z. Plz Advice.

I think it's the easiest/best way to go. When I pull the trigger on mine next month, it will be through them...

For those ready to buy a 370/other new Nissan or Infiniti Vehicle

It's a haggle free process. VPP pricing is near invoice so your OTD price is practically invoice + tax/title/license.

Find the invoice and MSRP prices here:
http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...ice-price.html

And then plug it into this simple calculator here:
NissanNews

Then add applicable tax/title/license fees (which equals roughly 10% in CA) and you have your OTD price!

Our fellow member, Robert_Nash is offering this deal up until June 30th if I'm not mistaken. The VPP number he gives you is good for either 60 or 90 days, I forgot which one.

Man that's really cool for him to do that, but unfortunately because of my situation i won't be able to buy a 370Z till around dec09-jan2010 that's when i should be coming back from iraq with a big fat downpayment. Off topic: I just stopped by out here in fairfield nissan and they have a fully loaded black 370z auto they selling it for 45k lol i told the salesman i could buy a new gt500 at that price, crazy for them to mark it up that high especially under the economy we in right now. Someone should let nissan know that not many people buying 370z is because dealers are greedy.

Hi, reviving the thread almost 4 years later.
I just went through cars direct to order my Z after a painful two month process with various dealers around CA to try to find the car with the options I want at a good deal.
I contacted CD, after an hour they found the car just shipped, brand new still at the port with all the options I requested (fully loaded).
Price was 500 below Edmunds invoice and it's funny that I will have to deal with the same dealer that quoted me the car at $1200 over invoice.

So far I'm happy, in 2 weeks (ETA) we'll see.
