Plus, no dealer here wants to go lower than 32k + ttl with me since 370z is whatever is in other nissan dealer inventories in california.

Well ultimately it's up to you as the buyer, but whatever you decide to do i'm sure anybody on here would be happy to provide you with any information that you need. Darnit and here i was hoping i was gonna have another evil twin of my Monterey Blue Z running around here come September lol.

I haven't bought the car yet. Waiting for dealership to send me email cuz I'm in no hurry at all. It's whichever comes first or I just wait until next year.

Though judging from price of gas and yen, MSRP is gonna go up by $800 at least next year.

I live in Orange County, but so far the best price I see is $32,000 + TTL (9.25% sales tax). I just want to make sure if I could do better.

btw, I currently drive a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S. Car handles like a go-kart. How does the 370z fairs in handling in your opinion?
You could probably do a little better. I got that exact combo in white but with the 7AT. The dealer had to have it brought from Santa Barbara on a truck so it made it harder to negotiate. I wasn't interested in any color besides the white. Had I been ok with gunmetal (close to the color of my S2000) I could have saved another ~$300-$500 I'm sure.

Sticker price of my car was $36,330 and invoice was ~$33,749. I got mine for about $155 under invoice but the dealer had to truck it, so I lost some negotiation power there. Keep in mind Nissan just raised prices a couple weeks ago but I don't know if that affects 2011 models already on dealer lots before the price increase. I think my vehicle is about $600 more now.

Some folks on here claim to get these cars for ~$2-3k under invoice. Not sure how they're doing that or if it's real.

I understand it's real, but I lived in Texas and Pennsylvania before and imports are cheaper and much lower resale value than California.

Ahh, maybe that's it. I was really on the fence about the Z and was leaning towards a 2011 Camaro SS. I'm happy with the Z.

Just something about the color of blue they used for the Z's really makes them stand out, that and i've always wanted a blue car but never really had a choice, it was either take what was on the lot or the car didnt come in blue lol.

i hear ya. I've decided to wait for another month or two. There's no way around me NOT to get blue. It just sticks out so much in a world where every car forget they're not monotone in terms of color.

Speaking of Blue Z's, one was just recently listed at carmax in costa mesa, but it is only a base model without sport package and they want $26k for it!, talk about ripoff considering it's an 2010 model

Im sorry, but for the amount of power on the wheels, i rather have VLSD than open diff. Considering only 25k of these cars are sold the price is about right.

I currently own a '09 PG 7AT Base with 16,900 miles (excellent condition, never tracked) with all the little extras (ie. mats, illuminated kick plates, splash guards). I'm in search of a '11 Red 6MT Sport Pkg. I went to a dealer in Ohio who had the car I want in stock ultimately not being able to make a deal.

I eventually offered $23,000 for my trade-in and $33,000 (around invoice) for the new 2011. They did not accept. Does this seem like an unreasonable deal? I feel like those numbers are the lowest I should accept.

Like I said, I think the dealers are playing off the fact that there isn't a production run on 370z due to the Japan earthquake. I've already starting to see prices in CA $1000 above the sticker price.

I mean...it's freaken CA. Most would rather get a G37 than a 370z.
