Any Idea When Nissan will offer Low Interest Rate Financing for the 370Z?
I'm looking at a 370Z, but I'm hesitant to shell out the coin. I recently purchased a used 2006 BMW 330i, so turning around six months later and turning it in for a Z is kinda hard for me to do.
If Nissan would offer 0% or 2% financing, like BMW is offering for the 135i, then I might reconsider. I really like this car, but I'm hoping that Nissan will throw us buyers a bone and offer some low rates. BTW, I went to the Autobarn in Evanston, IL and I checked out the 370Z they had at the dealer. I asked the finance manager if he anticipated any Nissan support for low rate financing, and he said that he did not expect anything till at least 12 months from the date the car was introduced. Not sure if that's true or not, but that's what he said. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed. |

I did saw that 1.99% APR from bmw. Very tempting. I think the cheapest you can get is 3.99% from Pentagon Federal Credit union or if you have a local bank that offers even lower. I used them to finance mine: PedFed
Since you've just bought the bmw 6 months ago, I would suggest you to enjoy the car for a little longer. Drive the BMW for a while and check our forums everyday to see any update on the Z. Once Nissan release the 2010 model year toward the end of the year, you can either a. Get 2010 model or b. get 2009 model for more discount. You're correct, the dealers are asking very high interest rates. My local ones are asking anything from 5.99 to 6.99. Good luck with your Z hunt. Try to absorb as much info as possible from our forum before buying your 370Z.

Why the hell are interest rates so high? I've been looking around and it is pretty ridiculous. I know the last two cars I bought were in the low 4's and that was the regular rate, not any specials. Now pretty much everywhere I look, it is in the high 5's or low 6's. I have a great credit score so theres no way Im paying that much in interest. If it means holding off on a new car, so be it.

They are are/were offering low interest only on the cars that have declined sales currently, Altima and Maxima I believe. The 370Z is selling well overall so there aren't that many factory incentives.
