Does anyone know if you can add navigation system option if you were purchasing a in store model? i know some cars you can't have navigation if it wasn't delivered

Does anyone know if you can add navigation system option if you were purchasing a in store model? i know some cars you can't have navigation if it wasn't delivered that way

If it wasn't a factory installed option then the expense and time of installing it afterwards, whether dealer or owner, is just not practical.

i am talking about going into a store that has touring and say i want navigation option as well, do they have to order another model or can they just install it on the touring?

They could, but it would be unreasonably impractical.

You will want to find a model that has navi already.

You could always save a bunch of money and install yourself. There is plenty of threads on how to install an aftermarket Nav here. Best part about that you can chose what nav you want too.

It's possible, but $$$$$$$$$$$$

The wiring harness isn't the same, so you would have to change the front harness which I believe the harness alone is 1200-1500(not installed). You are better off to go aftermarket, or find one with navigation.
