The dealer right down the road from me has a 2011 Base + Sport listed for 29,500 + TTL, so I think you can do better than 31,500.

BTW - OTD means the sales price + TTL

You can do better than that. What NCS is saying seems more like what you should be looking at.

Okay, Just got back from the dealer today, I got offered 32,200 Drive Out price. With it being transported from another state for free. How does this sound?

If it includes the sports package it sounds great, I personally wouldn't pay more than $30k OTD for a base if thats what I was looking for, that would be the highest I pay, NCS got a great deal and paid less for sports package I believe

Do your homework. Your getting raped on a base model. You should be able to get a base+sport at that price. I wouldn't pay a dime over 30 for a base model inclusive of everything.

What are your options? If it is an auto I guess it's an OK price. Did 2011 prices go up?

Yeah, with your tax rate and if its an auto I would say its a fair deal (not good, not great). If its manual, you should definitely go lower by at least $1k for a fair deal.

I would not pay 30k for a base either. But a base + sport was $34,485 in 2010. Nissan has raised there prices for 2011. So you guys saying he can get a base+sport for 31 OTD is nuts.

I got my 2010 Base + Sport in Feb 2010 (earlier in the model season than now) for 31k OTD. I certainly think its safe to say that for 31.5k you could get a 2011 base + sport with the right tax rate.

You should be able to get more advice if more information can be provided. Is this a new car? What's the sticker price? What options are on the car? Has there been dealer accessories added? And you indicate 31500 (out the door) + ttl. OTD=sales price plus the taxes, dealer prep and any thing else negotiated within the deal.

Also in certain areas, some colors are easier to get and sell better than others.

$31,500 (otd) could be a great deal or it could be high...it depends on several of the factors above...as well as whether the dealer is a volume dealer or gets a 370z once in a blue moon.

So you got your base+sport for like 1-2 grand less then the price of a base. 31K out the door is like what 28-29 before tax? Thats about 5-6k of sticker and 2-3k below invoice minus buy back. How could you have gotten such a good deal? How much would a base have been 24K?

It is new, Black. I live in Houston,TX. If anyone has any dealers you would suggest please let me know. and I might have worded it wrong. If you guys are thinking 31500 + ttl. It's not. It's 29450+ttl Which ends up to be 32200.

You have to remember that sales tax in VA is 3% :tup: I think its like 9% in NY, which is what you are calculating your numbers off of.

The sale price was $29.6k FWIW.

This is true, everything in NY is more except your pay. But still 29k Congrats. I thought I got a good deal at about 31 ish before tax.
