nismo 370z price?

can anyone speculate around how much it would cost? because i figured it dosent have leather nor nav system. thats saves lik 6500 but they add wheels body kit spoiler. exhaust, muffler, nismo seats, and suspension so my guess would be around 39 k maybe 38 k?

sensi09 04-11-2009 08:29 PM

~43-44k

Limited run items, such as this, will have a mark up to them. Dealerships will know people want this and will pay whatever price to get these extras.

thats sadly ture. ugh because i really dont mind waiting to get that nismo edition im just speculating how much it would cost. because i saw it and was amazed how amazing they did it. i really hope the most in 39 k because if it goes higher then i cant do the deal.

The way I'm thinking is this:

They price it slightly less than it would cost you to buy most of that stuff in addition to a Sport package (they know there are probably a couple items you don't want).

It's a huge margin deal for nissan, because they are only replacing parts with slightly more expensive parts. For you, the comparison is to buying the parts twice (buy the car, then buy upgraded wheels, exhaust, etc.). Nissan picks up most of the gap, and calls it "exclusive". The dealers also get to add more markeup... :(

I'm so frustrated. I want some of the NISMO stuff that should have been done right on the standard car - the wheel offset, for instance. I don't have a problem getting an aftermarket exhaust instead of NISMO, because I actually would prefer to lose some weight with titanium. And that NISMO nose - I'm just not sure I can do it. It also looks like it will get trashed in the first month on driveways...

i havent bought the car if the price is 39 k i can probably reduce the price by fighting with the dealer lol because i really want the car nismo because im doing lease because of the taxes. so ill be stuck with it without been able to fix anything you know. so i rather get the whole package than a little

I'm willing to bet it'll be right around the same as the previous Nismo price. 37k-39k give or take. It's nothing more than a base+sport w/ different bodykit/rims along with a couple of other extras.

Nissan would be stupid to price it any higher with this economy.

AK370Z 04-12-2009 12:59 AM

Def less than 40K. I'm assuming 38,000 to 39,900. Now if they dealers want to mark it up, then :ugh2:

You know the dealers - they'll at least try. They might even get a markup for a month or two... :shakes head:

I test drove a 370 the other day. Was talking to the sales manager about the NISMO 370 and he was giving me the bs about how in demand it will be and how he was going to do everything he could to get at least one in. At the same time, the 370 I tested was not in the color/options I would be interested in so then the same sales manager was doing everything in his power to unload the 2008 NISMO 350 he still has sitting there on me. Should have offered 25k and see what the response would be. Just because a car it limited doesn't make it in demand.

sensi09 04-12-2009 12:00 PM

Well a 370z with touring and sports packages is 38K and 40K with NAV. IMO, the nismo has to cost more than this, so at least 40-42K.

The Nismo 350Z has been plummeting in price, especially within the last year. There are thread on the other board where people are picking it up on the cheap.

i agree 100% i talked to the manager of the nissan where i live abput the nismo 370z he gave me bs about so many people wanted it. i am like the new just got out two days ago. also his dealership was empty i was the only customer there. he lower the price of the 370z sports from 35 k to 31k and im like no i want the damn nismo lol i walked out. and the guy started calling me how we can work something out. with this economy few people are interested in to buy a 30+ k car.
