Honestly, I believe the car will be around what victort said. Probably just under 40.
The truth is its probably worth about 37 to 38.
If you take the invoice of a base Z and add around 10 grand in nismo parts thats what youd come up with.
If they are 40k then just give it a year and youll pick one up for 30 somewhere.
Its just like the older nismo Z. They are selling those alot cheaper now with very low miles.

Not going to happen. The older model was hurt by the introduction of the 370Z. No way you're going to pick up a new Nismo for 30K when a base 370Z will be selling for the same price.

Have you tried sending a PM to mikew? He's a supporting dealer (Boardwalk Nissan). He might be able to give you a more solid idea on what the pricing is going to be like.

i went to the dealer today and one of the representatives said the nismo is going to be 80k i had to laugh

I will keep checking the Status of My Nismo coming in Late June or Early July. It still says no prices are available yet. I will keep everybody up to date the best I can.

i was wondering if anyone knows if the car is out in japan. if it is, it can probably give you a good idea.

anyways, i held on buying a 370z in order to wait what the price will be for the nismo version.

japan has their own version: Nismo S-Tune Z. its not like the US Nismo cosmetic and power wise. different fascias and +18 hp

Seriously, high 30's for this car is CHEAP. For what it can do, put a Porsche label on it-->$100K, BMW label-->$70K, you get the idea.

yeah im checking google everyday and the nissanusa.com.. they should release the price early this month supposedly it comes to dealers this month.. so lets just be a little more patient and see what happens.

You wanna know a better route?

buy a used FD3S RX-7 with a blown motor but straight chasis because they're cheap, then build the hell outta the 13B....or

Buy a used S2000 AP1, pull that torqueless VTEC out, then 2JZ-it. Or, rebuild the F20 motor with forged pistons, lower the compression and turbo charge it.

These are both easily faster than an all motor 370Z, plus they're both a lot lighter.

I put down a $1,000 deposit on one. My requistion order says "PRICE TO BE DETERMINED". The dealership had no idea about pricing or availability, even though the press releases said June release. The dealer said that the dealership usually knows only 3 weeks in advance of shipment. Well that puts us at the end of June.
