without people ripping me a new one, why do people always talk OTD price when comparing prices with people from different states and tax jurisdictions?? Some states like NH dont

without people ripping me a new one, why do people always talk OTD price when comparing prices with people from different states and tax jurisdictions?? Some states like NH dont have sales tax, but each year they have personal property tax, where as NY just knocks you at the purchase.
