Typical 370Z availability in the North East
Given the current situation, this thread would have probably made more sense last week when I intended to ask...
Of the three dealerships within 10 miles that I've visited over the past few weeks, 2 don't know when they're getting Zs in and the other isn't getting any because they can't sell them (place was really sketchy anyway). In a typical year (which I guess this is no longer...), is it still too early for most dealerships up here to get in their Zs? The closest I've gotten to a test drive is sitting in a 2010 roadster locked up in the dealership garage. I'm going to try to arrange an actual test drive and hopefully see if they can get a car transfered over from another state. I'd gladly take a leftover 2010 coupe, but they have 3 roadsters instead :( I'm just curious if most people in New York finding themselves in similar situations or if I'm simply looking too early, being that it's still winter officially. Thanks! P.S. Any thoughts on the Altima coupe if finding the right Z here proves to be impossible this year? |
The altima coupe is slower than the 3.5 v6 honda makes... sadly to say. i'd go with the 2.0 genesis before I bought an altima coupe

There are plenty of Z's around in the region, it just depends on how particular you are about color and options.

No 2011's have been delivered to the North East yet, as it stands there are still quite a few 2010's in inventory but you'll have to look around. If you go to the nissanusa.com website you can do a dealer search by your zip code and check their inventories. Koepell Nissan in Queens (a site sponsor) has 4 in stock all 6-speed manuals, 2 base black cherry, 2 touring black.

The recent events should not matter for the first waves of 2011 Z coming to the east, they should already be on its way on the sea. but after the current shipment of Z's you will probably have to wait for a bit for more to come in due to the earthquake. look for 2010 there are still quite a few around in north east.

I got my '11 from Connecticut I don't see how there can be none around because I found a few when I was looking a few weeks ago.
