Something else to consider if you're picky, it'll be more difficult to find a used car with your desired specifications.

hmmm....thanks for all the great info guys!
I am married but my wife hasn't really moved out with me yet due to me just hitting my first duty station and then getting deployed. I just have a fully paid off vehicle. When I move to another duty station she'll move out with me and she is going to school so she'll drive my current car and i'd use the Z as my daily drive. I do not do any mods. If I were to do any mods, i'd just add some rims, but I like how the stock rims look. Plus I am looking at getting the AT Touring/Sports package since it pretty much has everything. So yes it'll be my daily driver and depending on the day, i might let the wife use it. I could afford to take the hit if I get a new car. I am a filipino so I am cheap! hahaha I do intend to keep it for awhile. I am not the type to buy and then trade it in...but it'll all depend on what else comes out, but that's why I am doing extensive research and seems like a lot of people love the car. My brother also has a 350Z that he has had for awhile. I guess depending when I get back and what they have available will determine if I get new or used. I did read that the 2011 models has the rear camera. I'd go with USAA also. I do not think getting a good rate would be a problem since my FICO score is over 750 |

Bought mine used with 1055 miles on it and saved a lot of money. It also helped the seller get a little more money than a trade-in would have given them. I purchased from a forum member that I ended up trusting and he took great care of the car. Reason for selling was a newer, more expensive car next year.

I bought my MX5 new and I would buy my 370Z new. Why? Because at least I know that it has not been abused by a previous owner and that I can look after it like I want from the very start. I see too many people who buy cars and treat them like crap then get rid of them after only 1 year, imagine what kind of life that car had???

I knew a guy who took a brand new 350Z home (years ago) and drove the living shiet out of it from day one. The dealer had let him take it before they finished the financing and he took it back 2 days later and told them he didn't want it anymore. He ruined that car and now you know some poor guy.girl came along and thought they were getting a great deal got robbed! ok, so the moral of the story is, trust whoever you are getting a used car from and find a reputable dealership no matter what! Good luck

I've bought mine used with low miles. I'm going to track the car anyways so I don't mind if (more likely) has been ran hard. Most "new" cars have mileage in them anyway and who knows what's been done on those few miles.

oops I meant...sports package on either the base or touring model. I was planned on getting a car for my wife. She wanted a mustang, but I've been around asian vehicles all my life and my brother has a 350z. Somehow I became hooked on the 370z. Plus, I read mustangs do not great head turning points compared to a Z. Basically, she is happy with whatever decision I make...woohoo!!! 370Z it is! But I am definitely leaning towards a virgin Z lol What additional options did you get?

If you get a 2011 you can get the backup rear view mirror with it. It is pricey but pretty cool.
